While Madam Koch sipped wine on the veranda, the singing horses pulled a wagon load of rocks back up the hill. . All day she listened to their song beneath the sun and whip crack. . She frowned prettily. It was so hot, and she was so bored. . She would have her bath and go to the club. From there she could watch the singing horses come back to their enclosure, and she would laugh at their silly song. Tweet
