Spring is the beginning of bright defiances, of flowers beneath the newly-minted leaves, of voyages not yet over. . The helmsman's oars bring me off a dappled-island shore where soft-lipped unicorns still adore mushrooms ringed with morning's polished stones in a dell of magic silences where negre shadows rise to castle-chiseled peaks of gold leaned against the rainbow-tinted sky. . But I am destined for another shore, no quiet abode, where sirens lure with fateful song from gargoyled rocks that jut from swirling foam and end my search with knuckles hard and cold. Tweet
