Significant Dreams

It was the second decade of the World's War, and it was Morgan's first
trip to Mars.  The men and women stood beside him with long faces.  
Rifles on their backs.  They were packed shoulder to shoulder.  The 
cargo hold was large.  He couldn't see the walls in any direction.  
Although the enhanced air prevented muscle pain and discomfort, the 
thought of moving around was like a cigarette to a long-time smoker 
going through withdrawl.  Somebody sneezed.  Morgan stared at his feet 
and began to have second thoughts.
