The muse... she's out there, somewhere, asking all the questions. | |||
She has the broken heart of a lost writer, the sensitivity of a song maker, and the indecency of a tramp. She starts out mid ocean, or some other place far off, and rushes headlong to meet with me and disperse her rains. A damaged soul, yes, but at heart truly beautiful. I feel there is no ordinary woman here, a white witch maybe, needing an ounce of grated frog's powder, or a sky filled with storms. I feel the child in her, the whimsical need for affection and admiration to heal her pain. She is two people; her own thoughts often someone else's, her life a mimicry of another, her passion more out of comic book than real life. I was once curious to see beneath the mask, join in the merry masquerade, me the fool, and her the knave. Wondering what a galaxy of women I'd find. What pains have been shared, passed on, and blamed. What shameful day is she trying to forget, and in so doing wanting to heal others? She is like a child that steals kisses and runs off, boisterous and unruly, offering love as if she were twenty, while on a different day lacking independence, crying as if she has lost her way then running headlong to be with me. She believes in one with one, one on one, and no other arrangements is acceptable to her.... but how could she believe that anyway... for she once lived in a passion that passed for 'love' in the eyes of the world. I could know her, for she is truly beautiful, even if she can sometimes fill a sky with storms, which I'm certain she can. I know, for 'she' is me. Tweet
