Must you even ask if your significant other loves you, and if so what's wrong?

Must you even ask, why must you question 

how can you ask if I love you 

in what way have I failed to show you this 

what must I do to prove you are the most important one 

you are the only one for me 

you make me question myself 

how can you even wonder how 

or consider the possibility of my love faltering 

show me in what ways I have failed you 

there is no one else I'd rather have by my side 

you are the wind beneath my wings 

it is because of you I can reach the heights unparalleled 

without my life would be so much more poor 

whenever I play a song I play it for you 

whenever I consider beauty you're the absolute I measure it by 

whenever I set down to write you're the one I write too 

so how can you ask if I love you 

is it not written all over my actions and deeds 

by their fruits you shall know them 

I want you to know I love you in the Corinthian meaning 

everything you are is the most important to me 

I want to help you lodge inseparable from the identity designed for you 

and the path to finding that lies with God's gates
