A Wave of Mutilation And then again there never was any reason. It just happened like anything in our reality happens. At one point it wasn't and nobody knew it was there, then from apparently nothing it rose and we all seen it. It was the wave of way of life that had never been witnessed, and it spread like air and water. This rain though would not bring an end to drought but rather excel the droughts ending effects. It would be more of a flood, a flood that would crash upon the walls of other cultures and people and eventually break through and drown these peoples way of life. It assimilated all that it was not and left nothing sacred in its wake. It has taken our families and torn them from each other. There was a time when it was beyond thought and feeling, to ever let members of our family die alone surrounded by strangers in a place that is not their home. We have to remember that it has not always been this way. We have not always felt this fear of being alone and not part of something more than our selves, a community, a family, or a tribe. We have never been more alone than we our today in global world. We want to make it all homogenous, our great diverse people, their ways of life, their customs all blend to one and we our left with no chance of survival in midst of change. We are all riding this wave and if we are still on it when it breaks, we can only pay with our lives. Sjaan Thomas Tweet
