My stepfather raised me. I don't know any other Daddy but him. This one is for him. Feedback is always accepted and greatly appreciated.

Daddies

By: cowgirl_11

My Daddy is my stepfather. He's the one who raised me. He's the one I
run too when I have a problem I can't fix. He's the one I run too when
I need guidance. He's the one that I have always wanted to impress.
He's the one that has been there even when he didn't have too. This one
is for him.

 To: My Daddy,

A Daddy is someone who is:

Dependable: When you need someone there to listen to you, Daddy is
there. When you need a shoulder to cry on, Daddy is there. When you
need someone to bounce ideas off of, Daddy is always there.

Always loving: No matter who you become, Daddy's love is there. No
matter what you do, Daddy's love is there. You can always count on
Daddy's love. Even when no one else is there, Daddy's love is there.

Dear: Daddy is dear to all that touches his life in some way. He's
someone his family can count on to support them in every capacity. He's
the rock that holds us all together.

Dynamite: Is his temper when he's family is wronged. When someone hurts
one of his, watch out. Because the fuse will blow when you least expect
it. He's also there when you need the fuse lit; Daddy is there to
strike the match. He's there to get you moving in the right direction.

Yielding: To his children, even when isn't not in his best judgment to
be. He yields to the things you want to do in life. He yields to let
you make your own decisions. He yields to let you be the person you
want to be.

Daddy, you made a choice you didn't have to make. You made me feel like
your daughter. You didn't have to do that. You could have left Bo and I
to fend for ourselves. It wasn't always easy. It wasn't always bad. You
did what you had to do to teach us right from wrong. I couldn't thank
you enough for that. I don't know where we would be without you in our
lives.

Daddy, you may leave us sooner than we thought. But, rest assured, you
leave behind two children that love you dearly. You won't be forgotten.
Nor will you ever really leave us. For you will always be in our
hearts.

Daddy, you are my hero!

From Daddy's little girl all grown up!
