My first new poem in a while...it's about the onset of spring. | |||
Awakening Shadow world, cased in glass, What makes you think your reign will last? Even now, a gentle hand Is driving your ice from the land. Where is all your power now, Dark and windy ice and snow? The sweet hand and gentle eye Will push the gray clouds from the sky. Even now, the world awakes, And life and love have come to take The land in hand which once was theirs, And make it sweet, alive and fair. See the new birth break the glass. Shadow world, now breathe your last. Something new is coming now, To bid farewell to ice and snow. Tweet
