The Bet I Regret (standard:poetry, 124 words)
Author: NewKidAdded: Jan 22 2004Views/Reads: 2928/0Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
It's about a kid that made a stupid bet that cost him love.

I gave you the flowers when you came.

You gave them back; I put them in a vase.

You walked out on me, it was never the same.

It was never meant to be by the look on your face.

The time I gave has been spent.

I wanted to be with you, not in your case.

The flowers still in the vase as you went.

Everything I didn't do, I will regret.

Trying not to forget the beauty of your scent.

I should have never made that stupid bet.

I am the only person I can blame.

Forever to you I shall be in debt.

For what I have done I shall live in shame.

The mistake I have mad, I will proclaim.
