Love Poem | |||
To Joan for no occasion Your love invades my spirit As the dew and sun Engulf the grass On a spring mornin. You occupy my being As you capture my attention Drawing me into your warmth As a fire can draw us near. When I hurt you are there When I cry you comfort me You give me strength to persevere You give me leave to be me. You are my love You are my consciousness I give you my spirit I surrender my soul.
