A Romantic poem about what it means to love. | |||
To Love To love is to think another's life More important than your own. To love is to feel that other's pain Inside your every bone. To love is to spend time every night Just picturing her face. To love is to feel, at the mention of her Your heart begin to race. To love is to wish, at any time, That you could be together. To love is to be willing to hold her hand, To be with her forever. To love is to long for nothing more Than her soft and loving kiss. To love is to know that only her smile Can bring you gladness and bliss. To love is to hold her suffering As your own enduring fear. To love is to wish you could change the world At the sight of her single tear. To love is to be able to watch her sleep, To marvel at hear, calm and serene. To love is to take the smallest things, And contemplate what they may mean. To love is to never feel complete When you two are apart. To love is to feel yourself consumed Within the beatings of her heart. To love is to know that if she ever left, You'd surely start to cry. They say you don't know what you've got, Until you say good bye. But what they say is missing something, An aspect of love in which I believe. To love is to know just what you've got, Long before she ever leaves. Tweet
