Dreaming Of Mary...(Dreaming Of An Asian Princess). 

Blood pounding, resounding, emotional, eternal, 

Gleaming and vernal... 

Your love is not only external 

It burns like my dreams 

It lolls in complicated streams 

Of consciousness 

And gleams, like candles that beckon 

In the velvet subconscious of night 

You are the beginning, and continuation 

Of every delight. 

Steaming, dreaming, flaming, straining, 

Emotionally draining... 

I never have need of refraining 

From dressing you in my passion 

In gentle... sentimental fashion 

To express upon you my lips, 

As I dream that we meet in eclipse 

Of the fireplace flames. 

Comes every sunrise 

Sleeping on my shoulder 

Awash in divinity 

Ageless infinity 

Like each intimate flash 

Of starry virginity 

Borne from the love 

Heaven gifted, 

My spirit, by yours... 

Is eternally lifted.
