I Got Bones (standard:poetry, 165 words)
Author: Finn McKoolAdded: Jul 11 2003Views/Reads: 3239/0Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
I'm once again making this up as I go along for you kids, so I don't really know what to tell you about it, because while I type this it is unwritten.

Well I got bones baby. Bones to make and bones to break And I'm all
alone baby. The clouds ache and the thunder shakes. I'm full grown,
baby. But the child's dead and the ground is spread I sink like a stone
baby. Into my bed, into my head.

You got dues baby. From lies you said and steps you tred. Careful you
don't lose baby. From roses red, to brown instead. You gonna catch them
blues baby. They might last all time, just like mine. Cuz you ain't
heard the news, baby. While you sho' look fine, you're just a line.

But I can wait baby. But not to see you fall, oh no not at all I'm just
trustin' to fate, baby. Waitin' for it's call, from atop my wall. I
just hope you are't too late baby. And lose me in the concrete maze,
under the minotaur's gaze It's just my state baby I'm in flux of phase
from mud to rays.
