Love helps us escape from the cares of the world, but for how long? | |||
Eternal Currents There is no hesitation- We play on the warm white sands Near the water's edge Beneath a diamond studded velvet carpet Stretching from horizon to horizon. While flesh presses on flesh, Eternity lingers by the blue belly Of the ocean current waiting patiently For the rising moon to pull The cold water over intertwined feet Awakening us to the world Where love struggles to stay alive.
