This is basically the consequences of having one of those illicit nights.

Triumph of the ghastly gods 

Bent upon the destruction of will 

Manically cutting out the hearts 

Of those who love to live 

Bleeding souls on stakes of frost 

Burnt up in a self made hell 

Darker than the sins of evil 

Blacker than the night 

The agony and hopelessness 

That fill the mindless horror 

That surrounds the light of human blight 

And fulfills us in our weakest hour 

Falling from the thunderous sky 

A star that sheds it's wings 

When morning comes and finds us gone 

Destined to our hiding places 

That is when the truth does haunt 

Memories do carry on so sharp and wicked 

Promises that will not be forgotten 

Such is the pain of human recollection.
