Little plastic cowboy boots dangle from the rear view mirror watching cars speed by, revving their engines looking for a fight Out of the corner of my eye I catch my lips, framed by the boots in the mirror. Blood red and stretched out in to a false smile over dagger sharp teeth that would draw blood if given the chance I feel a breath of moist air on the back of my neck, smelling like a tropical breeze Rain drops as large as shiny marbles roll down the sky spilling from swollen purple clouds Tracing transparent lines thru the air connecting heaven to earth for brief seconds before they are absorbed in to the ground Purple daisies the smell like cafeteria food brush my head I pull on my thinking cap of tinfoil and blue dyed feathers, seeing flashes of... Tiny minds inhabiting clumsy lives push past me and the mysticism slips from my eyes Tweet
