Just another poem of me missing that same someone.

Huddle in the dark and count the sparks that jump from the fire. I wish
I could wish on them like falling stars, because my wishes are many and
multi-hued.

Stare at the embers and and try not to remember warmer times when you
couldn't see your breath in front of you in your own livingroom. Times
when you had more to cuddle to than some raggedy memories.

Gaze at the flames and try to name the name of that girl you wish was
beside you, who's got your heart dying inside you, and who makes you
feel like God lied to you.

Stare into the dark, as you shiver apart and pray that tomorrow is
warmer.
