My first attempt at poetry, woul appreciate any and all feedback

Your smile is like a sunrise

breathing life into an empty heart

Your eyes so brown and deep

that I cheerfully drown in them every day

Radiating beauty from your very presence

you force the storm clouds to flee from the sky

Just being here is a life preserver to my soul

you keep me afloat and give me hope

For without you

tomorrow never comes
