You know them. You fend them off, but they are relentless. | |||
Through the parting mists, an evil lurks. Hiding in shadows, it waits for that one unsuspecting victim. Many people have passed this entity, but they are blind to what evil it holds. And there it stays, unchallenged, secluded. A door. Its porch light is on, but needless in the growing dawn. Walking up the drive, it is not alone. For as evil as they are, they fear attacking singly, but in pairs they attempt. One takes a deep breath before they reach for the door chime. The pair smiles to one another as they gather their strength for the onslaught. The doorbell is pressed. The doorbell chimes. An anticipating chill runs up their spine. Footfalls come from the other side of the door, and then come to a pause. Heartbeats rise. There are a couple clicks coming from the other side of the door, but the entities are not in fear of them, because they know that they are protected from something more powerful than what may lie behind this door. The door opens. “Good morning, sir. Are you prepared for the coming of Jehovah?” Tweet
