The passing on of a tradition
 



Mr. Calhaun  was the town crier. who would announce to all the goings on
in the town. If a secret went his was, then all the town would know of 
it. It was an art and a talent he'd always say and had hoped that one 
of his kids or theirs would follow in his stride but to no avail. They 
considered it considered it an embarassment. Soon after his passing, a 
new voice was heard and many had risen to cry again. But no, it was the 
Cavanhaugh boy who had picked up the touch
