A poem dealing with the reasons why I write.

Why I Write Vol. IV                  10-10-2000 

I write to touch a larger audience 

to know that I have helped someone 

to contribute to a person's life 

to know it influences 

someday I shall see the fruits of my labour 

someday soon the time will come for me to harvest 

soon I shall be known as a man who writes 

touching people that perhaps I'll never meet 

touching you and you alone that in unique 

for you shall experience as none other shall experience 

a day will come when people thank me for this gift 

and by the glory they will discover God

when you need God hopefully I'll point the way
