Got No Coat 10-3-2000 got no coat I'm freezing that's what the hobo said no one there would lend him clothe [should be cloth] no one there would feed him a lonesome hobo to die and kill no one cared that he was impaired he went to the church they said you stink to bad went to the government said you haven't paid taxes in 20 years went to his neighbors said you're a homeless vagabond went everywhere he could think of no one cared no one wanted a hobo vagrants to die all thought so well no one considered his life a living hell no love no family nothing at all shuffled around from city to city trying to put him in jail with no bail trying to take him out of the system then one day he found a little girl she taught him how to read and how to write so well when her parents found out everything blew up said the hobo molested her but everyone knew it was impossible still he found a death sentence but that didn't matter to the hobo he had found what love meant he had found someone actually cared and when he was put to death a smile was on his face and a coat was on his back Tweet
