Shaving 

I wonder sometimes how much of my life I've spent shaving.  I guess I'm
lucky because I don't have a very thick beard, so I only shave once 
every other day, but even then I spend about ten minutes shaving. 

Let's say that the average man shaves every day, and takes ten minutes
to do it.  We'll subtract a few days for those Saturdays he gets up, 
looks in the mirror, and says “oh, the hell with it today – it's 
Saturday.”  So, ten minutes a day times 313 days (minus 52 Saturdays) 
equals 52 hours a year the average man spends shaving ... more than two 
full days.  If a man starts shaving when he's 15, and lives to be 80, 
he will have spent roughly 141 days of his life shaving ... one hundred 
and forty one days, almost half a year of his life 

Let's equate that to something else.  Let's say, oh, the act of sex.  If
it takes 30 minutes to have sex, and the average man has sex twice a 
week, for the same life span, he will have spent roughly 141 days of 
his life having sex. 

Anybody see a pattern here?  The average man spends as much time in his
life shaving as he does having sex. 

If this gets out, it could put Gillette out of business.
