Ironic By Lily Haythornthwaite Blue is unending, In sky or in mind, It is the unhappiness that envelops you, It is the freedom that releases, Yet holds us in place. The sky is happy whenit’s blue No clouds in sight today, But you are unhappy when you’re blue, Because of the trouble that plagues your day. Blue is blue, Yet it is not unhappy, It seems very happy at bay to me, Happy at bay, in mind, in sky And in that ocean that rocks life gently by. Tweet
