It is a poem reflecting my philosophy about life, and how meaningless we make it. | |||
Give me the sun so bright and warm Give me the sand of golden charm Give me my sleep from dusk to dawn To lie in mother’s lap and yawn I’ll be happy , the little one says. Give me shade from the sun so hot Give me the key to nobler thought Give me grandchildren wool headed like sheep A rocking chair to lull them to sleep I’ll be happy ,the old man says. Give me the car my neighbour bought Give me the job the other guy got Give me the thrones of kings and czars Give me the moon, give me the stars I wont be happy till I have it all Who said that? You did! Tweet
