A seasonal poem to, hopefully, uplift spirits. | |||
Lost Joy Recovered by Jazz3 I've found my lost joy Tangled up in Christmas lights and Well-remembered ornaments that always make me smile Joy hidden in pain Surrounded by Tragedy Struggling to feel good In a World turned upside down There are still strangers willing to help others Free of Suspicion and Fear And like, Blanche Dubois, I've found a sweet comfort In depending on there Kindness I've found my lost Joy Looking at holiday shoppers And in the smile of a man carrying tinsel In houses lit up for the holiday season In the spirit of religious ceremony In the closeness of family I've happily discovered It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year Still Tweet
