The limits of love, and wishing there were none.

You say I am your angel, but 

you know I cannot save you. 

I love you more than I thought possible, 

but even this is not enough.

I would give my happiness 

to take away your sadness, 

I would give my existence 

that you may live. 

***** 

I would weep an ocean of tears 

so that you might smile; 

I would give my strong heart 

that yours might be mended. 

***** 

But we both know that even this 

is not enough. 

If I am your angel, 

WHY CAN'T I SAVE YOU?
