Falling in love when one is in denial

My tears are falling down my face Another sign of my miserable place
I've sworn off love, t'is all too true Didn't believe in it but I feel
it with you I can't admit but I can't deny These feelings that from
them, I shy I cry because they're so intense A promise of a gift held
out of reach You're far too close to chase away But I must for I cannot
feel this way I don't believe in such emotion Yet I am tormented by the
ceaseless torture That only in the dark and alone Can I admit the truth
of my heartache I love you so and I have for so long But to welcome
these thoughts with open arms Would be a plague to all we hold dear
Please, walk away and don't look back I don't want these feelings to be
in my heart I don't want the hurt of your face around As you date my
friends and clown about My truest friend I see in you But down deep, I
see much more You've made it clear that you would die Just to protect
my honor and my life Why do you have to be so sweet, so funny, and
caring A joy in my life, a fool so daring Leave me be, just walk away
Cause I am sure to break one of these days And admit to all how I truly
feel And then I will have broken my honored seal I don't believe in
love, I never have, never will But I can't deny how I feel For that boy
who will not leave my side So, instead of thinking and feeling, I sit
down and cry.
