Who are these guys

The SignMakers 

Did you ever drive down the road and see a sign that didn't make any
sense to you? It has happened to me often and wonder who comes up with 
them.  Is it the politicians to keep us off balance and leaves us not 
to worry about what happens in the Capital or perhaps is it a road 
workers union who laughs at us as we are zooming down the road, so they 
has some fun as we adjust to the signs?  I have no idea, could be a 
conspiracy by the SignMakers. 

Often I have come across a sign that tells me “Patrolled by Aircraft”. 
What exactly does this mean?  If I am speeding down the road, will I be 
destroyed by a stealth fighter.  Seems like harsh treatment for 
speeding.  Maybe they are looking for a group of kids walking down the 
road, thinking they are a gang or something.  Perhaps a plane will 
strafe them to eliminate any risk of doing any harm to the peaceful 
people living around the area.  This could mean so many things, I 
haven't a clue. 

What is the deal with the one that looks like a flying deer?  I would
bet it means that Santa Claus passes that way every Christmas Eve.  If 
we want a glimpse of Santa passing by, we should park there. I really 
haven't seen a flying deer, unless it is flying off the bumper of a 
car.  Perhaps I would have avoided that deer if I wasn't looking up in 
the sky.  I wonder if the Signmakers are in cahoots with the insurance 
companies. 

The other day, I saw a sign with a picture of an airplane.  How did I
get onto the landing strip?  This is the way the road took me, very 
scary indeed.  It could be for small  planes, since the road is 
littered with light poles, I am wondering if it is to relieve pressure 
from the bigger planes landing on the runways.  The airlines must have 
something to do with this. 

There are so many signs telling us where to go.  Don't go this way, go
this way, turn left, turn right, go straight and so on.  I wonder what 
the Signmakers make for each sign. Just think about the kickbacks they 
get, guiding us by big and small businesses,  Those Signmakers get paid 
every way they can.  They tell us who to vote for, who not to vote for. 
 I imagine it's for the person who wants to create more signs or give 
them a tax break.  Perhaps I should have been a Signmaker.
