LOST LOVE 

Flowers flourishing 

Love growing 

Flowers blooming 

Love fulfilling 

Flowers dying 

Love killing 

Weeds thrown out 

Memories shut out 

The vase emptied, 

The heart bare 

Moving on, full of doubt, 

Staying alive, taking care 

Not to open again, 

Not to rust again, 

Avoiding the pain. 

Making a façade, 

With peoples’ emotions’, playing God. 

Hating loving, 

Hating living, 

Yet through it all, continuing.
