A poem about being apart

Your Picture 

I look at your picture and, I see your smile... It, somehow, seems to
erase the three thousand miles That keep me from looking into your 
eyes.. Remembering the pain of our good-byes. 

I look at your picture and, I see your smile... Reminding me we'll be
together in just a little while.. To be held in your arms... To look 
into your eyes.. Knowing then, there will be no more good-byes. 

I look at your picture and, it makes me smile... I always believed my
wait would be worthwhile. I'll be in your arms... looking into your 
eyes.. Together at last... There will be no more good-byes.
