I miss my perfect miracle.

I have to let you go.

Can't keep holding onto this pain.

Re-learn to look for love's glow.

Trust there are things to come

which will make my heart lift.

Thaw out the ice from my soul.

And see you were a wonderful gift.

*

For that's exactly what you were.

A gift from out of this world.

Without even drawing one breath

you stole my heart, precious little girl.

From that I find a big smile

behind the track of my tears.

You'll never be far from my thoughts.

I'll love you for the rest of my years.
