Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story That had started him On his quest for the sword. In everyone's life There must be the hope For something better; With all of the pain and suffering Hope must be reborn. The song gave back All it had to give By lighting the fires Of a boy's imagination. With these thoughts Came a wonderous change The boy became a man, He had grown In strength and wisdom and in years; He became the best he could be. Done with thinking He rose to his feet And put aside his quest, For he had found his sword In the forge of his own heart. He returned home To raise a family, Now content within himself. In later years he smiled a secret smile As he watched his son listen With wide eyed wonder To the same song, That in time past, Had sent him on a long journey. These words were spoken At the song's end; "Sometimes the Looking Is more important Than the Finding." Tweet
