two twin cubs of hers, and children I was glad of that, I found my mule
a mile or two away picking grass along a green slope and he seemed
glad for us to partner up again and I was afraid that bear had run him
plume out of the territory.

And then there was that time I was near drowned , when my mule fell with
me while we was crossing a raging river during the summer heavy rains,
well if it had not been for a leaning tree that had it limbs dropping
over the river bed I grab at the limb that the river carrying me by
and caught on and held tight and I finely manage to swim to the river
bank catching the limbs as I went foot by foot till I reach the river
bank and was saved , yes my dear children your old uncle has been threw
the mill, but the lord has always made a way for me to live and not
die, and now I am old too old to set astraddle of a mule, and my
traveling days are about over, and then after I am too old maybe the
God lord will send one of you to take old uncle Franks place , to go
out and spread the good news of the lords gospel, Its late children and
you mother wants us to head off to the roost for some sleep, and on
tomorrow, I will share more of my days riding the backwoods of Kentucky
preaching the wonderful gospel to those that will hear......Uncle frank
can't walk so swift no more old age has it grip on his old bones, but
his heart is as young as it was the day he parted to preach the Gospel
to the mountain people of old Kentucky the home of the brave , if I
shall live to be a hundred years old I shall never forget the stories
that Uncle Frank told before the fireplace of my old Kentucky home
.......THE END
