A bird learns where freedom lies. | |||
Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story She has to forgive herself for all the bumps, bruises, and scars she's inflicted on herself. ~ The little bird starts to pray. She asks for the strength. To move out of her safe zone. She begs for patience. To disallow herself from moving too fast. She longs for grace. To feel forgiven. She wants love from within, and from above. To feel worthy. She desires to forgive. To heal from the past. ~ A voice speaks to her. “All you ask is granted. You've had the key all along. Give everything to me and all will be yours. You are free to soar.” ~ The little bird stretches her wings, draws in a deep breath, takes a step toward freedom, and flies high into the bright blue sky. © December 18, 2008 by Lori Tweet
