mini-bar that he bought last year and took a bottle of fine red wine
out; exactly the same wine that Rosabella and Cecilius drank the first
time they went out on an official date. He took a glass of it and
started to walk around the house, room to room. What Max had said about
his house how big it was came to mind...and he was right it, indeed,
was big...big, yet empty. No sound, no human presence, just memories
kept inside the walls. Darkness and silence annoyed him so he turned
the stereo up in his bedroom; played a song that he made a while ago,
and went to the balcony. The night was clear with a full moon. Cecilius
went and lay down on a bench that his bro made him when he moved inside
the house. He started thinking again, he couldn't understand any of it.
Cecilius knew that his heart loved, and still loves, Rosabella and her
family. He knew it exactly the same way as Cecilius knew he was alive.
Cecilius argued with himself as he asked himself, Is it possible to
love two girls at the same time? Is it? Or is my mind playing tricks on
me? I mean if I had to choose which one to marry without a doubt I'd
chose Rosabella, but still....could it be that I love Rosabella with my
heart and my mind just happened to be interested in someone else at the
same time? I don't know...I'm not even sure I want to know. It's not
important anyway...I love Rosabella she loves me why go and risk
everything for some girl that I hardly know? Max...the annoying, yet
caring, member of family. Ambrosi careful, harsh, hardy, yet
trustworthy, and a good friend. Basically all of her family was nice;
He knew them all, and they accepted Rosabella and Cecilius. Oh, yes,
sweet amore mio...loving, caring, passionate, careful...awesome
person...no words to describe my feelings towards her.... Am I willing
to lose her? Am I? Maybe it's just hormones kicking in... I simply
don't know..., he thought. His mind continued wandering away as he
slowly fell into comfy sleep. When he woke up it was still dark
outside, he was worried and went looking for her. Cecilius was ready to
search every part of the town....and he knew where she went.

Tears were streaming down Rosabella's face so fiercely that she couldn't
see. She slowed her pace, still crying, and sank to the ground wrapping
her arms around her knees. Rosabella stayed like that crying her head
on her knees, only thinking about his tender touch. Rosabella wanted so
badly to go back to him, to once again be in his loving arms, to once
again be loved by him. “He hates me,” She yelled. “How can he do this
to me?” The sun now set; as it grew darker Rosabella stayed still, only
crying; not moving an inch. “Why did this happen to me,” She cried into
the night. She couldn't see a thing with the combination of the tears
running down her face and the dark night stretching out ahead of her.
Rosabella sat in the darkest of the night, pain overflowing her heart.
Sobs escaped her chest, painful sorrowful cries. What was left of her
heart? She felt as though it had been ripped from her chest and
destroyed. As if it no longer existed. The pain was unbearable. The
dark sky above Rosabella began to cry. The tears falling from the sky
were even with her own tears. For every tear that had fallen from her
cheek now fell from the sky. It seemed as though the sky was crying for
her, as though it felt the pain she did. Rosabella slowly dragged
herself to her feet forcing herself to move forward into the dark,
never ending night. She couldn't see a thing; Rosabella was soaked from
the rain. Slowly, she forced one foot in front of the other. She made
very little progress before she tripped over something. She cursed as
she fell on wood that cut her palms. She pulled herself up once again,
forcing herself to walk more. The sobs from Rosabella's chest were
unbearable; each one was like a dagger piercing her chest. Rosabella
slowly moved forward as she cried. Rosabella couldn't stop crying the
tears escaping her eyes before she had noticed. The sky's tears were
never ending as well, as Rosabella cried more the sky cried more. She
cried harder the sky cried harder. She fell many times unable to stay
standing, finally she couldn't take it. Rosabella fell once more, to
only her knees this time. “Why did this happen to me?” she cried into
the night. “Why, why, why,” Rosabella cried again, her head falling
into her scratched palms. Rosabella's head pounded in rhythm with her
sobs. She could barely breathe while crying this hard. “Rosabella, are
you all right?” she heard someone call behind her. Rosabella's tears
suddenly came to a halt, as did her breathing. Rosabella turned to see
him once again. She dragged herself to her feet and ran into his arms.
He wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to him. He wrapped a
blanket around her; the rain steadied, now only a drizzle. “Let's get
you home,” he said picking her up, and carrying her towards his car.
She only stared at his face, but soon fell asleep. When Rosabella woke
she was in his car, and he was driving me home. The car came to a halt
Rosabella looked out the window noticing we were at his place. “I
thought you said you were taking me home,” she said looking at him,
confused. He turned to look at her; she was lost in his eyes again.
“You can stay at my place for tonight, ok?” he asked her. Rosabella
nodded still lost in his gaze. He got out of the car, and walked around
to her door. He opened the door for her and picked her up, carrying her
inside. When they got inside Rosabella changed into some dry clothes
and tried to sleep. She noticed him watching her. Rosabella turned to
look at him and he smiled at her. “I'm sorry I hurt you, Rosabella,” he
said, his smile fading. Rosabella walked over and sat next to him.
“Don't be,” she said, her eyes filling with tears again. He traced the
side of Rosabella's face, but soon withdrew his hand. He turned his
head away from Rosabella. She put her hand on his cheek and turned his
face towards hers. They stared at each other's eyes; Rosabella traced
his lips with her fingers, over and over again. Her fingers froze in
place on his lips; her breath came to a sudden halt once more. He
leaned in to kiss her, she pulled away. Rosabella's eyes filled with
new tears, as tears overflowed from her eyes and streamed softly down
her face. He put his hands on each side of Rosabella's face, drying her
tears. She cried more and pressed her lips together squeezing her eyes
tightly shut, trying to hold back the new tears that she knew came with
his touch. Rosabella put her hand on his and leaned into his touch. She
broke down crying once more. Rosabella couldn't take the pain it was
too much. He kissed Rosabella's forehead and tried to calm her. She
woke in the comfort of his arms the next morning. During the time that
she had been crying and the time she fell asleep, he had carried her to
his bed and she had slept there quietly in his arms. He was still
sleeping, Rosabella ran her fingers through his soft, silk like hair,
and traced his lips over and over again. She kissed him on the cheek
and knew that she should leave, but was unable to pull herself from the
comfort of his arms. Rosabella stayed still and continued tracing his
lips soon falling asleep again. She woke to a stir finding that he was
awake. He smiled at her. She hadn't noticed that her fingers were still
on his lips until he kissed her fingers, then leaned in and kissed
Rosabella's forehead. He brushed her hair from her face and kissed her,
his lips soft and tender on hers. Rosabella closed her eyes and put her
hand on his. His other hand wrapped around Rosabella's waist pulling
her towards him. She wrapped her arms around his neck still kissing
him. Rosabella pulled away from him thinking that she didn't want to be
hurt yet again. Tears came to her eyes as she stared at his beautiful
dark blue eyes. He leaned into her again. She closed her eyes as he
kissed her once more. He'd never kissed her like that before, so
passionately. Rosabella couldn't help herself, she kissed him back. He
finally pulled away from her. She slowly opened her eyes looking back
and forth at his eyes. Rosabella lay there, staring at him for a long
while. She traced the lines on his palm as he watched her. He pulled
Rosabella's hand to his face. She watched the path their hands took. He
kissed her hand and looked at her. Rosabella traced his lips, then his
cheek with her hand. She traced all the features on his face memorizing
them. She leaned in to kiss him, her hand still on his face. He kissed
her back placing his hand on her neck, and his other hand still on
Rosabella's. The kiss ended after what seemed like an eternity.
Rosabella took a long, deep, shallow breath and stared at his
beautiful, cobalt eyes yet again. Rosabella awoke yet again noticing
that she had fallen asleep once more, but Cecilius wasn't next to her.
Rosabella began to worry and got out of bed. She walked towards the
kitchen, beginning to smell something wonderful. She turned the corner
and saw he was making breakfast, though it was two in the afternoon.
“Good morning, amore,” he said as he wrapped an arm around Rosabella's
waist and kissed her forehead. She leaned against him, still tired and
her hair a mess. He kissed the top of her head as he continued cooking.
Rosabella wrapped her arms around his torso and hugged him to herself,
his arm still around her waist. While he was still cooking Rosabella
walked away to explore the house, wondering if his house was still the
same as she remembered it. His house smelled and looked wonderful,
better than she remembered. Rosabella scanned her fingers along the
shelf with our pictures on it. She laughed at some of the pictures and
gawked at the some of the others surprised that he had kept them. While
she was still looking at the pictures, not noticing how much time had
passed, Cecilius came up behind her wrapping his arms around her waist
and started kissing her neck. He laid his chin on Rosabella's shoulder
and said “Breakfast is ready, bella donna.” “I didn't know you kept all
of these pictures Cecilius,” she said twining her fingers in his. “Of
course, Rosabella, why wouldn't I,” he said. Rosabella shrugged,
turning to look at him. He looked back at her eyes and kissed her.
“C'mon, amore,” he said pulling her, “breakfast is done, and you should
eat.” “Okay,” she said, his arms still wrapped around her waist as they
walked. He pulled Rosabella's chair out for her, finally removing his
arms from around her waist, which she was a bit upset about. Rosabella
sat down and he served breakfast for her and sat next to her, serving
breakfast for himself as well. She couldn't believe how he went out of
his way to do things for her. She smiled and he began to eat, Rosabella
followed him and began to eat as well. It was just as she remembered
his cooking wonderful. “When would you like me to take you home, Hun?”
he asked. “Um......... I don't know. I'd rather stay here as long as I
could....... If you don't mind that is,” I said “Not at all,” he said a
smile appearing on his face. They finished eating and Rosabella helped
Ceclilius clean up and with the dishes. They joked as they did the
dishes; by the time they were done Rosabella was soaked with soapy
water. “I'm going to go take a shower,” She said to Ceclilius. “Okay,
would you like me to join you?” he asked jokingly. She turned towards
him, her mouth hung open. He laughed at her expression. He walked over
to Rosabella, wrapped his arms around her waist, and kissed her. She
wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. She pulled back,
her arms still around his neck, his arms around her waist. “I'm going
to go take a shower now, Cecilius,” Rosabella said, kissing him again.
“Okay,” he said kissing her back, she pulled away and started walking
towards the closet to get a towel. He ran to catch up with her wrapping
his arms around her waist walking with her. She grabbed a towel and got
in the shower while Cecilius straightened things out around the house.
The hot water relaxed her muscles as she finally relaxed and calmed
down. When the hot water finally ran out, Rosabella turned off the
water and wrapped herself in the towel. She grabbed her dirty clothes
and walked over to the laundry room to throw them in the washer. She
started the washer and walked to Cecilius's room to get some clean
clothes. Rosabella was going through the dresser for some clean clothes
when Cecilius came up behind her, and wrapped his arms around her
waist. He pulled her wet hair back and kissed her neck. Rosabella
giggled from it tickling, and leaned her head to the side. Cecilius
kept kissing her neck, her arms fell limp at her side and her breath
quickened. He kissed down Rosabella's neck and her shoulder. Then
Cecilius kissed back up her neck and her jaw, and back down to her neck
again. Cecilius continued kissing her neck, then licked her neck.
Rosabella shivered, not from being cold but from his tender, soft
touch. Her breath was slow and shallow. Cecilius kissed around her
neck, up her neck, then her jaw. He moved to Rosabella's lips and
started kissing her. She kissed him back wrapping her arms around him.
Cecilius started backing her up towards his bed. She couldn't help
herself; she followed his lead and backed up towards his bed still
kissing him. When her knees hit the side of the bed she sat down, him
leaning towards her. Rosabella leaned back and moved to the middle of
the bed.Cecilius laid down on top of her, still kissing her. Cecilius
took his shirt off, and then started to unwrap the towel that was still
around Rosabella. She stopped him and sat up, wrapping the towel around
herself again. “I-I-I'm sorry,” She said breathless, running her
fingers through her hair, and her other hand holding the towel shut
around herself. “No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I-I
just....... I'm sorry, Rosa,” he said. “It's ok,” Rosabella said still
breathless as she got up. She grabbed some clean clothes out of the
dresser and went in the bathroom and got dressed. After she finished
getting dressed she ran her fingers through her, still damp, hair and
held onto the sink for support. Rosabella took a deep breath to calm
herself still not fully sure that Cecilius had really done that. She
wasn't ready to face him again, just yet, so she stalled. She brushed
her teeth and dried her hair. She took one last deep breath, and was
ready..... in a way. Rosabella walked out of the bathroom noticing he
was no longer in his room. She walked out of his room, and didn't see
Cecilius anywhere. She remembered where he usually went when something
big happens and he feels responsible for it. She walked through the
living room, to the sliding glass doors that led to his balcony.
Rosabella opened the door and stepped out onto the balcony and found
him there. He was leaning against the railing, staring at the sky. She
walked over and stood beside Cecilius. “Are you ok, Cecil?” she asked.
Cecilius's head fell into his hands as he said, “Yes,
I'm.....fine......Rosabella.” A long eerie silence passed as they both
thought about the previous events. The sun started to set; she hadn't
noticed how much time had passed. “It's beautiful, isn't it, amore?” he
said. Rosabella nodded, surprised that he had spoken. She turned to
look at him instead of the never ending sky. Cecilius continued looking
at the sky not noticing that she was staring at him. She laid her head
on her arm, still staring at him, lost in thought. Cecilius glanced at
her and half smiled. He walked behind her and wrapped his arms around
her, laying his head on her shoulder. Rosabella twined her fingers with
his. “Sing something, Rose,” he said. “Okay,” Rosabella said as she
turned and kissed him, thinking of what to sing. She chose one of her
favorite songs: You and Me. Rosabella started to sing, “What day is it?
And in what month? This clock never seemed so alive.” Cecilius started
to sway side to side, his arms still around her waist, and swayed with
him. She continued to sing as Cecilius swayed and hummed, “I can't keep
up, and I can't back down. I've been losing so much time.”

Chapter two:

The day finally came for Cecilius to take Rosabella home. Rosabella
still called her parents house “home”, she could never quite get rid of
that habit. He had called her parents and assured them that she was
safe and doing well. “Why must I go back so soon?” Rosabella moaned,
pouting. Cecilius looked at her smiling as she pouted. “You look
dazzling when you pout. You know that?” he said as he lifted her chin
and kissed her eagerly. “Maybe I'll pout more often, then,” Rosabella
said. Cecilius chuckled kissing her once again. “Well,” he said
wrapping an arm around her waist and leading her towards the car. “I
have no choice but to take you home now. Your parents will be worried
if I don't return you to them soon.” Cecilius opened the passenger door
for her. She got in the car. He shut the door after her and walked
around the car. He shut the door and started the car. Rosabella was
pouting again. “Would you please stop pouting Rosabella, it only makes
me want you more.” She couldn't help but smile at that. “There we go,”
he said smiling back. “It's great to see you smiling again after.....”
he trailed off. Rosabella quickly changed the subject, “When will I be
able to come back, Cecilius?” “Soon, amore, soon,” he said. She turned
and looked out the window as he drove her home. She saw Cecilius glance
at her many times, he looked almost disappointed. “What is it Cecilius?
You look almost......upset.” Rosabella asked. “It is nothing, Rose. You
have naught to worry about.” She stared at him as he kept his eyes
glued to the road. Rosabella could tell something was wrong, and yet,
he just wouldn't tell her what. How she wished he would tell her
everything that ran through his head in those few minutes. She couldn't
take her eyes off of him. Those eyes, that face, those perfect,
luscious lips; she longed to kiss him once again; to feel the rush of
adrenaline as he took her in his arms and kissed her with a passion.
Cecilius glanced at Rosabella finally noticing her staring at him. He
smiled, “What?” he chuckled once again. “Nothing,” she answered folding
her hands in her lap and staring at them. After a few minutes of
silence he said, “amore.” Rosabella looked up to see him staring at
her; not noticing he had stopped the car. He had pulled over, probably
worried from her acting so. “Yes?” She asked looking at him. Rosabella
felt wretched when she looked into his eyes, filled with worry and
sadness. Hardly able to bear his glare, as he searched her eyes, a
moment longer, she turned away. “Please, Rosa, tell me what is
bothering you.” “It's nothing, Cecil, nothing....” She froze again
staring at her hands to keep her eyes from reverting back to his. “It
is just that......” She trailed off once again. “You seem so upset and
I feel it's my doing, Cecilius that is all,” she said finally forcing
the words out of herself. “Rosa, it is not your fault. Do not blame
yourself for my mind wandering and only thinking of the worse.
Rosabella, you must promise me that no matter what thoughts I have, no
matter how utterly mad or upset I am you will not think yourself at
fault. Can you do that for me, Rosabella?” He asked raising his
eyebrow. “I-I suppose so.” “Good, now that we have that settled, let's
get you home,” he said starting the car again. Rosabella still couldn't
take her eyes from his face. The sun was high in the sky. The sun
hitting his face at such an angle, it was unreal! His eyes glistened in
response to the sunlight. Cecilius's face relaxed, not holding that
smile she so loved. He started to hum the song she had sung just the
night before. He smiled and chuckled apparently remembering it well.
Rosabella smiled in response to his face lighting up with that
wonderful smile again. “As you know very well, Rosabella, my voice is
not as exquisite as yours. Would you mind singing again for me?” he
asked. She giggled at the compliment, butterflies filled her stomach
with surprise and nervousness, but why? She had never been nervous to
sing for him before. Why did she feel this way now? The butterflies
were almost unbearable, to the point of nausea. “I'd really rather not,
Cecilius. I'm not up to it right now.” “That's fine, Rosabella, I can
hear your beautiful voice anytime you wish to share it with me. No need
to press for it now.” They had arrived at Rosabella's parent's house.
“Mind if I join you, Rosabella?” Cecilius asked. She smiled not able to
help it, “No, not at all.” “Thank you,” he smiled back. He followed her
inside his arm around her waist. Rosabella's parents were very fond of
him. They thought him perfect for her. She had assumed that that was
why they did not mind her staying at his place for so long. When they
walked in the door her parents greeted them warmly. “Rosabella,
Cecilius, welcome home,” they said as if he was already part of the
family. He fit in so very well with her family, got along well with
her: younger brother, two older sisters, niece, and nephew. “Cecil!”
Rosabella's two-year-old niece yelled as she hugged him. “Hi, Zaira,”
he said picking her up as she hugged him again. Rosabella's older
sister and she laughed as she did so. “Hey, Serafina,” Rosabella said
hugging her sister as she walked in with her boyfriend, Allessandro,
following behind her. Rosabella hugged him as well, as he greeted them.
Rosabella's eldest sister then walked in the door with her nephew and
her husband. “Aida, I haven't seen you in a while,” she said hugging
her, picking up her nephew, Savino. “Hi, Savino,” Rosabella said giving
him a big hug as he shrieked her name with a big smile on his face.
Rosabella's brother then walked in. “What's all the ruckus about this
time,” he said leaning against the wall eating something. “Hey,
Maxamiliano,” Rosabella said laughing at him. “Hey sis, hey Aida,” he
said. “Hey, Cecilius, it's been a while how you been?” he said averting
his attention to Cecilius now. “Good, and you Max?” Cecilius said
wrapping an arm around Rosabella's waist, still holding Zaira and her
holding Savino. “Great! Hey sis when you gonna have one of your own of
those?” he said looking at Rosabella as he played with Savino's hair.
Her mouth fell open and everyone laughed at her, even Cecilius. “Not
anytime soon,” Cecilius answered for her. She should have figured her
brother would ask something like that. Rosabella rolled her eyes at her
brother and walked past him in the kitchen, still holding Savino.
Cecilius stayed behind to converse with the rest of my family. “Hey,
Mom, Dad,” She said hugging her mother then her father. “Hey, honey,”
Rosabella's father said hugging her back. “I hope Cecilius's answer to
your brother's question was truthful,” he said scolding her. “It is
Dantel,” her mother said trying to suppress a laugh. “It is Papa,”
Rosabella said smiling. “Dinner is almost ready,” her mother said. “Ok,
I'm going to go back and talk to Aida,” She said turning and walking
back into the dining room. She set Savino down and sat down next to
Cecilius, wrapping her arm around him. Rosabella yawned and laid her
head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of her head with his soft, warm
lips. He was still conversing with the rest of her family. “So, Rose,
what happened while you were at Cecilius's place?” Maxamiliano said
with a grin appearing on his face. She glared at him, how he loved
teasing her so. Cecilius laughed at his question then answered,
“Nothing, she just needed some time alone and needed to talk to me. So,
she stayed at my place for a few days until things calmed down a bit.”
“Oh......” Maxamiliano said trailing off. “Dinner's done,” her mother
called out. Thank the heavens. They all went and sat at the table
resituating themselves at least three times until finally satisfied
with where they sat. How well Cecilius fit into her family. Rosabella's
family loved him and treated him as though he was part of the family.
Her mind began to wander. What if what had happened just a few nights
ago had never been resolved? What if Cecilius and Rosabella had stayed
broken up? Would her family still except him as they did now after
knowing what he was going to do? Rosabella was pulled back to the
present when Savino pulled on her shirt. She smiled warmly at him,
“Yes, Savino?” She asked. He was only three and very shy at times. “Can
you please get me a plate to eat, Rosa?” he asked. “Of course, hun,”
she said giving a little of what he said he wanted. She got less food
than he did. Rosabella wasn't that hungry since her mind had started to
wander. She only pushed the food around her plate while everyone else
talked and ate. Cecilius glanced at her several times with worry and
curiosity in his eyes. She smiled a fake smile, she knew he wouldn't
buy it but it would bide her time. After dinner, Cecilius offered to
help clean up. They told her parents to relax and converse with the
others while they cleaned up and did the after dinner chores. As
Rosabella washed the dishes and he rinsed, dried, and put away, he
started to approach the subject slowly but she could easily tell that
it was escalating to it. “What was wrong at dinner?” Cecilius finally
asked. “Nothing, Cecilius,” Rosabella said with another fake smile
hoping he would be too busy to notice what it was she was trying to
hide, it didn't work. He lifted her chin with his hand to look her in
the eyes so it was impossible for her to lie a moment longer. How
mesmerizing he could be if he wanted, and how well he knew it. “I-I was
just thinking, my mind was wandering is all. Thoughts that never should
have come to mind,” Rosabella said, only telling him half of the truth.
He saw right through it once again. Rosabella turned away from his
beautiful, dark blue eyes; she couldn't stand his gaze a moment longer.
He kissed her, his lips full and soft on Rosabella's. Though her hands
being soapy and wet from the dishwater, she wrapped her arms around his
neck and kissed him back. Her body molded perfectly to his, as if they
were one, meant to be. Rosabella's brother walked in to give them a
dish that they had forgotten. Right in the middle of the kiss too! No!
“Oh! Bella and Cecil are kissing!” he yelled aloud. They stopped
kissing. Cecilius turned and smiled at her brother shushing him. How
annoying her brother could be at times. Rosabella turned and looked at
Maxamiliano; he stuck his tongue out at her. Rosabella rolled her eyes
and turned back to Cecilius, kissing him again. “Mom, Dad, Cecil and
Rose are kissing!” he yelled again. Aida walked in and made my brother
get out of the kitchen. “You need to stop yelling, Max,” Aida said, as
she led him to the family room. “But....” he said, his voice trailing
off as Aida led him away from them. Rosabella giggled and turned back
to Cecilius. He kissed her again, more passionately this time.
Rosabella's little brother must have told her father because he walked
in then. She pulled away from Cecilius and turned back to finish the
dishes, smiling. Cecilius cleared his throat as her father crossed the
room. Cecilius pressed his lips together in a fine line. She longed to
be in his arms again. “So, how were you the past few days, Rosa?” her
father asked. It was evident that he did not plan on leaving her alone
with Cecilius any time soon. “Good, Dad,” she said scowling at him,
annoyed that he didn't trust her. He smiled at Rosabella's expression
then turned his attention to Cecilius. “Cecilius, it's been a while
since I last saw you,” he said. “Yeah, it's been a long while actually.
How have you been, Sir?” Cecilius said to her father. “Good,” Dantel
answered, a real smile appearing on his face. Dantel sat down at the
counter, gesturing for them to join him. Cecilius wrapped his arm
around Rosabella's waist as they sat down. Dantel smiled warmly at
them. Rosabella folded her hands on the counter, she was nervous. She
tapped her finger nails on the counter again and again until Cecilius
seized her hands, raised them to his lips, and then kissed them;
smiling at her. She smiled back. Had it been another circumstance she
would have kissed him, but with her father right there she dared not.
Dantel and Cecilius talked for a long while. Rosabella hadn't heard
most of their conversation because her mind was wandering once again.
So much was running through her head in those long, torturing minutes.
She glanced at the clock: 10pm........had it been so long already?
Cecilius and her father had been talking for nearly two hours now.
Rosabella looked out the window, sure enough, it was dark outside.
“Rosabella,” Cecilius said shaking her shoulder. She had spaced out
again. Rosabella blinked a few times, turning her attention back to
Cecilius. “Will you join us in the family room, Rose?” Cecilius asked.
She nodded not noticing she had done so. She stood up and followed him
into the family room where the rest of my family greeted them warmly.
They were all laughing and smiling, having a great time. Rosabella's
niece ran to her, hugging her. Rosabella picked her up and kissed her
on her cheek. She hugged Rosabella again. Rosabella sat down still
holding Zaira. It was pleasant to be in her family's presence again.
They all laughed and talked for a long while. “Rosa,” her brother said
turning his attention to her, “are you going to live with Cecilius now
or are you still living at your house.” “I'm still living in my own
house Max,” Rosabella laughed, “You can't get rid of me that easily.”
“He has a big enough house, you know. It's like a mansion,” he said
trying to get her to rethink that. She laughed at his comment, “I
know.” He didn't have another argument ready. Zaira then crawled off of
Rosabella's lap and went to play with Savino. It was starting to get
late and everyone was leaving. Cecilius, luckily, was going to stay the
night. Unfortunately her father wanted Cecilius to stay in the guest
room. As Aida, her husband, Ambrosi, and Rosabella's nephew left
everyone was heading to bed. Rosabella told Max he could bother
Cecilius and her later. He finally agreed and headed to bed as well.
Rosabella walked up the two flights of stairs to the third floor with
Cecilius. He was about to head for the guest room. She kissed him and
went to her room. Rosabella walked in her room and turned on the light.
She changed and lay down to go to sleep, but it was useless. She
couldn't sleep at all, no matter how hard she tried. Rosabella tossed
and turned in bed, finally she ended up staring at the ceiling. She
couldn't take it anymore; she was too restless to sleep unless she was
with Cecilius. Rosabella got out of bed and walked down the hall to the
guest room where Cecilius was sleeping. She slowly opened the door to
see that he could not sleep as well. She walked in and closed the door
behind her. Rosabella crawled in the bed next to him. It was great to
be in his arms again. His one arm was wrapped around her waist. His
hand stroking her hair, cheek, lips, face, neck. His touch was soothing
and helped her fall asleep easily. He kissed the top of her head,
thinking she had already fallen asleep, still stroking her hair. His
touch was so soothing that she fell asleep. Rosabella woke the next
morning, again finding him not sleeping next to her. She yawned and
stretched, then walked down to the dining room. Everyone was already
there. They greeted her with smiles. Cecilius stood up and pulled out a
chair for Rosabella, then sat back down. She yawned again and Cecilius
laughed at her. She wasn't quite sure what she wanted to eat; her
family always made a huge breakfast. Cecilius knew just what Rosabella
would want; he made her a plate to eat and got her a glass of wine.
“Thanks,” she said smiling at him still trying to wake up. “No problem,
amore,” he said kissing her forehead. “Would you two stop it, I'm
trying to eat here,” Max said. They all laughed at his comment, and
Rosabella started to eat as well. Breakfast was nice; they all talked
and had a good time. Cecilius and her family finished catching up.

Chapter 3:

Cecilius stayed with Rosabella and her family for about a week and a
half. Unfortunately, the day came when Cecilius was ready to leave.
Rosabella said “bye” to everyone, knowing she would see them again
soon. They stopped by Rosabella's place and she packed three months
worth of clothes. The car ride back to his place was quiet and yet
pleasant. The scenery was beautiful; each thing they passed was
amazing. Cecilius glanced at Rosabella many times. “It's all so
beautiful,” she said turning to look at him. He smiled at her, his eyes
searching hers. He reached over and took Rosabella's hand in his. He
raised her hand to his lips and kissed it. She longed for those full,
luscious lips to be pressed against her own; for him to take her in his
arms; his warm hands roaming over her body. These thoughts surprised
her, she had never thought of him in such a manner before, and she
would most definitely not permit herself to do so any longer. Rosabella
had no idea how long she stared at him, but, apparently, it was long
enough for them to be at his place now. She blinked, noticing she had
spaced out while staring at him. Cecilius opened Rosabella's door for
her, and helped her take her things inside. “Thanks for letting me stay
here, Cecilius,” she said. “Any time, Rose,” he said kissing her cheek.
She didn't want to start unpacking yet, so she went in the kitchen to
find something to eat. There wasn't much to eat; he had said that he
was going to go to the store soon. Rosabella ended up having a bowl of
ice cream. She sat down at the table and started eating when Cecilius
walked in the kitchen and sat next to her. Suddenly, she wasn't so
hungry. Rosabella sat there swirling her spoon in her ice cream; her
thoughts eating at her. “Cecil?” Rosabella asked in an unsteady voice.
“Hm?” he said looking at her. “You chose the other girl, why are you
housing me.....letting me stay here, and spending so much time with
me?” She asked tears welding in her eyes. “Well, I'd rather not talk
about it, amore,” he said. “And why not?” Rosabella asked, catching a
tear before it had time to roll down her cheek. “I'd just rather not
talk about it,” he said in a harsh tone. “Well what's wrong with me
asking a simple question? I was only wondering. And what if you do go
back to her? What will I do then, Cecilius? Huh? What am I to do then?”
She asked rising from her seat and throwing her hands in the air. “Sit
down, Rosabella!” Cecilius said in a much harsher tone, almost yelling.
“No. Do you really love her or not Cecilius?” Rosabella asked, her arms
limp at her side. “Yes! Now will you please sit back down, Bella,” he
said in a hushed tone. Rosabella was stunned. “I can't believe you,
Cecilius; you act as though you love me when you really love her. How
can you do such a thing? At least have the decency to tell me that you
do not love me, instead of leading me on like this. I thought that you
really did love me. That you had thought you had changed your mind
about before. Come to find out you don't love me you love her,” she
said and ran out the door to the front porch. “Rosabella.....” Cecilius
called after her, apparently upset by her words. Cecilius followed her
out onto the porch and put his hands on her waist. “Rosabella,” he
said, “I do love you.” She slid out of his hands and walked back
inside. Rosabella went into his bedroom and started unpacking her
things, not noticing what she was doing. He walked in the room and
sighed, then helped her unpack. She was still to upset, so she decided
to take a shower. The hot water was soothing. When the hot water
finally ran out Rosabella shut it off and wrapped herself in a towel.
She threw her dirty clothes in the washer, along with some other
clothes and started a load. Then, walked back into Cecilius's room,
noticing he was still unpacking. Rosabella walked over to his bed to
get some clothes out of one of her duffle bags. When she was searching
through her duffle bag he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling
her closer to him. Rosabella turned around to face him and kissed him.
He kissed her back roughly. She could tell something was different.
Cecilius's hands slid down Rosabella's back, grasping her butt. She
crushed herself to him, as he pulled her closer, squeezing harder. Her
arms flew about his neck, before she even noticed what she had done.
She didn't care; there was a burning sensation in her loins. She could
feel his hardness pushing against her body. His hands slid down to her
thighs, then her knees, leading her legs around his waist. He lifted
her off the floor and she wrapped her legs around him. She clung to him
tightly, the burning sensation increasing with every moment, his
hardness crushing against her. She pulled his shirt off then unbuttoned
and unzipped his pants. She pushed his pants and boxers down. She heard
them hit the floor then continued kissing him. He kissed her back
roughly. Cecilius licked the inside of her cheek, their tongues
colliding. He backed her up to a wall. Her head hit the wall, and her
towel fell to the floor. She kissed him more passionately. He couldn't
stand the wait a moment longer; he slid inside her, slowly. She moaned,
still kissing him. His hands still on her butt, he moved her up and
down, and she moaned again. He pulled himself out of her. Cecilius
backed up to the bed and laid her down. In an instant he was on top of
her. He nudged her legs open more. She did as he motioned and he
entered her slow and deep. She moaned her hands on his shoulders. He
thrust himself into her harder. She moaned louder, grasping his
shoulders tighter. He thrust deeper in her, a natural reaction from to
her moans. She moaned again, and louder still. He thrust himself into
her hard, again. Her head flew back, revealing her throat to him. He
kissed down her jaw to her throat. He licked from her neck to her
breasts. He kissed between her breasts, teasing her. She moaned, and he
took her breast in his mouth, sucking. His tongue moving in little
circles around her nipple. He nibbled on her nipple, then kissed her
breast and up her chest to her collarbone. He licked from her
collarbone to her jaw; then kissed her passionately, their tongues
colliding once again as he thrust deeper in her still. She moaned,
kissing him back. She sucked on his tongue. He wrapped one arm around
her waist and pulled her closer to him, her body molding to his. He
thrust deeper and harder into her; she arched her body towards him and
he took her deeper still. He thrust into her deeper, and climaxed
inside of her. She moaned, again. Chest heaving, he laid next to her.
As they caught their breath, she laid her head on his shoulder, her
hand on his chest. He wrapped one arm around her shoulders; they were
both sweaty and had to catch their breath. She kissed his shoulder,
still breathing hard. Their breath finally slowed back to normal. She
drifted off to sleep after trying so hard to stay awake. Cecilius
kissed her forehead and brushed her hair from her face. He traced the
features of her face: her lips, eyelids, high cheekbones. The most
beautiful being he had ever seen. How could I ever have attempted to
leave her? She's the love of my life; the one I want to spend the rest
of my life with. “I'll never leave you again, amore,” he whispered into
her hair, kissing the top of her head. She sighed; he froze thinking
she had woke. She snuggled closer to him, sighed again and was still
asleep. He let loose a deep sigh and pulled the blanket over her
shoulders. Cecilius glanced at the clock: 1:00 pm it read. He silently
and gently removed her arms from around him and slid out of bed, and
slipped on a pair of shorts. Cecilius walked to the living room,
blinking at the sudden brightness. He ran his hands through his hair
and sighed, trying to wake up. Cecilius walked to the kitchen and
looked for something to make for breakfast. He didn't know what to
make, spaghetti sounded good to him. He got out all of the ingredients
and seasonings and set them on the counter. He had started cooking when
Rosabella woke up. She must have smelled it. He thought and silently
laughed to himself. When Rosabella walked in, Cecilius stared at her.
She had wrapped the blanket around herself, hair tousled and yet, he'd
never seen her more beautiful than she looked now. She rubbed her eyes,
yawning. He just stared at her, amazed by how beautiful she could be
just the way she was. She looked like a goddess, but that was nothing
new, he had always thought that she was the most beautiful creature on
God's green Earth. She stopped rubbing her eyes and looked at him,
noticing him gawking at her, she giggled. It pulled him back to
reality, he took a deep breath. “Good afternoon, bella donna,” Cecilius
said, walking towards her. She wrapped her arms around his torso, as he
put my hand on her waist and kissed her. Apparently she didn't want to
let go of Cecilius; as he turned and walked back to the kitchen, she
kept her arms around his torso, walking with him and her head on his
chest. Cecilius kept one arm around her waist as he finished cooking.
He had almost finished when she said, “It smells delicious, Cecil.”
“Thank you, princhipessa,” Cecilius said kissing the top of her head.
They didn't eat much, they just mainly talked. Cecilius was still
trying to find out what to do with her today. He hadn't planned
anything, yet. After lunch she helped him clean up and with the dishes,
ending up in a roar of laughter instead. After lunch, Cecilius took a
cold shower. Finally fully awake, he turned the water off and stepped
out of the shower. He wrapped a towel around his waist and stared into
the mirror, thinking of all that happened. Had all that really
happened? Cecilius thought. He ran his hands over his face and through
his hair. He took a deep breath, and then exhaled slowly. He opened the
bathroom door and walked into his room, finding Rosabella there as
well. Cecilius walked across the room and got some clothes, then got
dressed. He walked over to Rosabella, leaned down, and kissed her
forehead. “Would you like to take a shower before we leave, Rosabella?”
He asked. “I took one last night if you can recall it,” she said,
giggling. Her exquisite smile was dazzling. He nodded as she walked
over to him. Rosabella's arms were suddenly around his neck, her body
molded to his. Their eyes met for the briefest second before he leaned
down and took her full, warm lips with his. Her body completely molded
to his, their bodies fit as though it was meant to be. The kiss
suddenly depend, with very little effort from either of Them. Her
breath quickened as the kiss changed from passionate to passionate and
ravenous. Cecilius brushed her hair back from her neck and lightly
placed his hand on her neck his other hand on her waist.

Chapter 4:

Cecilius was awake already, had been for hours now. Rosabella had just
woken up and got in the shower. The hot water waking her up the rest of
the way. When the water had fully woken her up, she turned it off and
got out. Rosabella got dressed and threw her clothes in the washer then
went to join Cecilius on the balcony. She stood next to Cecilius,
leaning against the railing. “Good morning, amore,” Cecilius said as he
walked behind Rosabella and wrapped his arms around her waist. Her
hands found his by habit. She leaned back against Cecilius, staring at
the sky. He kissed her neck and murmured against her soft, vanilla
scented skin, “beautiful sky today, don't you agree, Bella?” “Mhm,” she
said as she exhaled, voice hardly audible. A smile spread across
Cecilius's face, she could feel his lips move against her skin. His
lips left a hot, fiery trail on her skin, where his lips had been. Her
fingers tightened on his as he pulled her closer. Her breath paused and
he laughed quietly and softly at her reaction as he continued kissing
her neck. She tried to step away but his arms tightened around her
waist. “Cecilius,” she said taking a deep breath. “Yes, amore?” he
said. “Not now, Cecilius. I-I'm....” she sighed. “Sorry, Cecil, I
just.... just not now, Cecilius, please.” “I'm sorry, princhipessa,” he
said letting go of her waist and looking at her jade eyes. She could
see the hunger the need that lingered in his eyes. She stared at his
cobalt eyes, wishing she hadn't stopped him. He saw the same need that
he felt reflected in her eyes. “As you wish, Rosabella,” he said as he
turned and walked back into the house to stop himself from wrapping his
arms around her and doing as he did before. She sighed and watched him
disappear into the house. Rosabella turned back to the balcony, leaned
against the railing, and stared at the beautiful, never ending sky. Her
head was overwhelmed by thoughts and doubts. She couldn't think
straight, couldn't make up her mind. Rosabella spaced out not noticing.
A loud bird startled her, bringing her back to the reality. She took a
deep breath then walked back inside, Cecilius nowhere in sight. She
walked room to room looking for him but she couldn't find him anywhere.
She began to worry as she came to the last room left to check, but he
wasn't there either. His wallet was gone along with his keys.... Where
had he gone?

Speeding down the country roads, anger filled his thoughts. How had he
done that? It's like he was reading her mind....her emotions.
Impossible. Her thoughts rushing through his mind, her coursing through
his veins. They were lovers, meant for each other and yet she had those
thoughts, why? He loved her more than anything. She is his everything.
How could this be happening? Most of all, had he really just read her
mind? Had he really just tapped into her emotions and felt what she
felt? He could still feel the tingling on his skin from feeling her
emotions. He could still feel her soft, silk, vanilla skin beneath his
lips. She was just so damn irresistible. He was attracted to her in
ways he'd never been attracted to a woman before he'd never felt this
before. He'd never been able to tap into their emotions and thoughts.
Questioning his sanity, he sped up without noticing. His mind racing at
the speed of the trees flying by, his anger grew, his breath slowed. He
hadn't noticed he had now stopped breathing. He took a deep breath,
filling his lungs thoroughly. He glanced out the window to his left,
now noticing his speed, he glanced at the speedometer. 140 it read. He
gawked at it for a moment longer then slowed the car to an acceptable
95. Glancing out the window again he sighed. He noticed the break in
the trees ahead....it was the place she'd gone.....the place he'd taken
her. He slowed the car quickly and came to a halt. He got out of the
car and started hiking through the woods, memories flashing through his
mind. Finally, after a while of hiking he reached it, Waterfall Creek.
He now noticed why she had come here when she was upset. It somehow had
a comforting aura. He paused, took a deep breath, and raked his hands
through his hair, then sighed again. He continued to the bridge,
pausing to look around before he sat on the edge of the bridge, his
feet dangling above the water. He wasn't sure what had happened, nor
what to do. He sat for a long while, not moving an inch, spacing out.
When he finally came to he sighed once more, a cold shiver running down
his spine. Not a clue what it was from, he turned to look around, and
emptiness was all he saw. A dark void, blackness, at this moment he
wanted her in his arms most. To hold her close to him. To feel the
comfort, the secure feeling of her in his arms. To hear the rhythm of
her heart beating. He wanted nothing more than her love. He had it
already and yet he worried he might lose it. Turning back, his eyes
closed, he saw her eyes in his mind, her beautiful jade green eyes.
They were tormenting, haunting him. He wanted her, he needed her. He
loved everything about her. He knew she loved him back just the same,
so why was he so damn scared of losing her? Sighing yet again, he
cleared his mind and raked his hands through his hair once more. He
closed his eyes and took a long ragged breath, trying to regain his
sanity. His hands raked over his face then fell limp at his side. He
slowly stood and turned to leave, but heard a few branches snap, and
someone groan in annoyance off in the distance.

Figuring he went to the same place she had gone, Rosabella grabbed the
other keys on the hook and walked quickly to the garage. She opened the
door, flipped on the light, and sighed. She slowly but hurriedly walked
to the car, got in, and revved the engine to life. She pulled out of
the garage, then the driveway. She drove down the road at a reasonable
speed, wanting to reach him as soon as possible. She saw his car in the
distance and slowed then parked next to it. She stepped out of the car
to continue on foot. She was in such a hurry that she fell often,
hardly paying enough attention. The woods were dark due to the fact
that the canopy let in very little light. Squinting to see farther into
the darkness that looked as though it was going to swallow her, she
continued forward. Her mind filled with many thoughts most of which
were worrying about him. She hoped he was ok; she wanted to know why he
had left. What compelled him to just leave like that, she planned to
find out. After what seemed like an eternity of hiking she knew she was
getting close. Just a few more yards and she would be there. She was so
eager she didn't see the tree root sticking up that tripped her she
fell and scraped her hands. When Rosabella tried to get up she stepped
on many sticks that broke with a loud snap. She was frustrated that she
could hardly do anything with such worry without hurting herself. Her
mind was filled with worry and her heart was racing, wanting to be in
the comfort of his arms once more. She stepped on a few more twigs that
broke with a startling crunch and groaned out of annoyance. She walked
just a few more yards and she was there, Waterfall Creek. Cecilius
standing there staring at her dumbfounded. She wanted to ask why he had
left but she was speechless. Her eyes locked on his gorgeous face, his
eyes mesmerizing her. She was so lost in his face that when he stepped
forward and wrapped his arms around her she hardly noticed. It felt
wonderful to be in his warm embrace yet again. She was still curious
why he had left but still rendered speechless she kept silent.

He noticed the voice; it was Rosabella, no doubt. He'd know her voice
anywhere; he could pick her out of a crowd of a million people just by
her lovely, enchanting voice. Every word that fell from her perfect
lips was a spell cast upon him; it sometimes took a bit of effort just
to remember to breathe when she was near him. Lost in thought yet
again, the time slipped by, and she came through the trees. Standing
before him, the most beautiful thing he could ever lay his eyes upon,
was Rosabella. The sun filtering down through the canopy, shining upon
her face, it was god like. She was a goddess, out of this world,
absolutely beautiful, stunning...... No words could describe her
perfect angular face, her gorgeous smile, her beautiful jade eyes,
every inch of her was a masterpiece, and she was his. She stood before
him, staring, and chest heaving from her hike. She didn't seem to move
an inch once she locked eyes with him. He saw her eyes rake over him to
see if he was alright. He slowly stepped forward and wrapped his arms
around her. He loved when she was in his arms, safe and sound. He
noticed her tremble though and felt his shirt become damp........ She
was crying. He held her tighter, his eyes misting with tears at the
thought of her crying. He composed his face before he slowly and gently
pulled her far enough from his body to see her face. Her eyes locked
with his as a quiet sob escaped her chest. The sound, the sight of her
crying brought pain to his soul. He slowly lowered his lips to hers,
pausing before kissing her to look her face over. Her eyes were closed
tears slowly, lightly trailing down her face. He could see the path
that every single tear took down her face. He lightly brushed his lips
over her high cheekbones, over her eyes, along each path that every
single tear took down her face. His lips lightly touched her lips, just
barely. Rosabella's lips trembled, her breathing ragged. Rosabella
slowly leaned into Cecilius's touch. His lips left fiery trails on her
cheekbones, along her cheeks, and now her lips. Her lips burned sweetly
from the sensation of his touch. Rosabella's cheeks were flushed, every
inch of her skin kindled in a way she never thought possible. Her mind
was clouded from the exotic smell of him and from his touch. She hardly
knew what was going on and just let her body respond naturally.
Rosabella slowly raised her hand to his face, tracing all of the
contours. She didn't dare open her eyes. She knew that just the sight
of his eyes and beautiful face would take her breath away and capture
her. Running her fingers along his jaw, Rosabella leaned in closer. She
trailed the tip of her nose, then her lips up his neck. She heard his
breath falter and slow. Rosabella trailed her lips along his jaw and
kissed the corner of his mouth. Cecilius kissed her, his luscious lips
full and warm on hers. She slightly parted her lips, breathing in his
scent as her fingers knotted in his hair. She felt his silken tongue
run along her lower lip then withdraw. Suddenly, missing the feeling of
his tongue on her skin, she kissed him, slowly sliding her tongue past
his lips, tempting him more and more as she did so. Cecilius pulled
back from Rosabella, but not too far. Her fingers were still knotted in
his hair. "Rose," he whispered, "tempting me here does no good. I'm
sorry I left.... May I ask you something?" Rosabella nodded, slowly
opening her eyes, uncurling her fingers and lightly wrapped her arms
around his neck. "Were you having doubts...About us before?" He asked.
Rosabella met his eyes, tears misted in them, seeing the anguish there.
He quickly looked away, seeing the tears in her eyes. "Y-yes," she said
in a low voice, stuttering as she held back the sob she so feared would
escape her. She drew a deep breath then continued, "I was, but I was
only worrying. I thought you might go back to that girl or would just
le-" She had never told him her thoughts, how did he know what she was
thinking then? He read the expression on her face and noticed the
confusion. "It was as if I was reading your mind, amore. I don't know
how, but I did. I heard every thought as if it were my own, I...."
Cecilius tried to think of a way to explain to her that he had felt
every emotion she had. "Rose.... I felt everything you felt.... Every
emotion I mean.... I.... I don't get how it's even possible. I
just....it's li-" She cut him off abruptly with one stern look. "Do you
find this funny, Cecilius? Because I don't," she said in a harsh tone.
"Rosa-" was all Cecilius managed to say before Rosabella cut him off
again by putting her hand in the air. Rosabella took a deep, shaky
breath and turned, trying to understand what he meant. Had he been
trying to mess with her head, or had it been true? She turned around
and looked at him, trying to see the truth in his eyes. She saw no
lies, only worry. "Y-you're serious aren't you?" He nodded in approval
once, a quick, jerky nod. Rosabella stared at him dumbfounded and tried
to process what he meant exactly. She went over what he said word for
word in her head. Each word was harder to process then the last. "H-how
is that even possible?" She asked and he opened his mouth to respond,
but then closed it again. The truth was, he, himself, didn't know how
or why. He didn't understand it, though he wished he did. It would be
easier for them both if he understood it all. Cecilius took a step
forward, reaching out his hand to stroke her beautiful, silken skin.
Rosabella immediately reacted, pulling back as though she had been
burned. He longed to run his fingers through her long, beautiful hair.
He wanted to trace the contours of her body once more. Cecilius wanted
her under him. He wanted to be inside her as he was before. Just the
thought made him ache. He remembered every detail of how he moved
inside her. The thought hurt and he stopped a rough groan before it
could escape past his lips. Cecilius pulled his hand back and distanced
himself from her a bit. His pants were too small now. He followed
Rosabella's gaze, where she saw the bulge in his pants. Rosabella took
a step forward, not able to help it, and stopped. Her eyes slowly swept
up his body, to his face and back to the bulge in his pants. Her cheeks
became flushed at the sight and thought. Rosabella tore her eyes from
him completely and took a loud, audible, deep breath. She slowly
stepped back a few paces. She could feel his calloused hands on every
inch of her skin as they were before. Her loins burned sensationally at
the thought. She remembered every moment of it as if it were happening
right then. She held her breath as she felt a soft moan rise in her
throat, almost a purr. Rosabella exhaled slowly, still holding back the
moan she feared would escape her. She felt her blood boil beneath her
lips and cheeks as she flushed a darker red and she bit her lip.
Cecilius stepped forward a few steps and placed his hand on her cheek.
He lowered his face to hers and whispered, "Don't bite your lip, amore.
There are far better things to do with them than that." As soon as he
was finished speaking, his lips were on hers in a hard, tantalizing
kiss. His lips slightly parted, just enough for him to flick his tongue
over her lower lip, then withdraw, enticing her tongue from her lips
and leading it to his. Just as she did as he had intended, he pulled
his lips from hers. A soft whimper escaped her. She didn't want him to
stop. Her loins burned and ached from even that small amount of
teasing. The bulge in his pants grew as she whimpered. Cecilius looked
over Rosabella's face and committed it to his memory. Her cheeks were
flushed red and her lips trembled as she drew in a ragged breath. Her
eyes glistened a beautiful green with a hint of honey brown in the
middle. She looked back and forth at his eyes, curious why he was
looking at her the way he was. Cecilius ran his fingers over her cheek
then her lips. She kissed his fingers as he did so. His hand trailed
along her jaw to her neck. He slowly ran his fingers down her neck and
over her collarbone, where his hand froze in place as he slowly lowered
his lips to her neck. He kissed her neck softly until her breathing
became unsteady. He wanted to hear her moan again and he knew exactly
how to do that, he knew everything about her. Slightly parting his
lips, Cecilius's tongue glided over her skin lightly in small circles.
Rosabella's breath was caught in her throat. Finally, she managed to
exhale in a gust, a small moan slipping out as well. He smiled in
triumph and made the circles with his tongue slightly bigger. His hand
on her collarbone slowly slid down to her waist. He slowly trailed his
hand up her shirt, stopping at the curve. Rosabella shivered from his
touch as his other hand did the same to her other side. She slid her
hands onto his arms, trembling. His grip on her sides slightly
tightened and he pushed her back to a tree. His lips lightly trailing
up and down her neck continuously. Cecilius slowly moved his hands
down, out of her shirt and onto her waist again. He moved his hands up
again, pulling her shirt off as he did so. Dropping her shirt on the
ground, he trailed his lips up her neck once more and along her jaw to
her lips, where he lightly kissed her before trailing his lips along
the other side of her jaw. He lightly trailed his lips down to the
middle of her neck as he raised her hands above her head, pinning them
to the tree. He kissed her neck, lightly flicking his tongue over her
skin as she moaned again. Rosabella's head was clouded from his touch.
Her body ached from his touch and remembering last time. Instinctively,
she pushed her hips towards him. She felt his erection on her belly and
she heard him groan. His hands released hers, replacing them on her
waist and pushing her against the tree again. Her arms fell limp at her
sides as she whimpered. Her loins burned exceedingly. "Rose I want this
to last. I want to savor every moment. Just be patient," Cecilius said
in a hoarse tone. She envied him for his self control. She ached and he
refused to release her from it. In the end she knew she would be happy
he had made it last, but right now she just wanted to be sated. He slid
his hands from her waist to her jeans, unbuttoning and unzipping them.
He grabbed her jeans and her panties, slowly slipping them off of her
and going down as he did so. She stepped out of them, her back now off
of the tree. Rosabella could feel the moisture between her legs; she
could since his tongue touched her skin on her neck. Cecilius kissed
her inner thigh and she spread her legs more in response.

Chapter 5:

Rosabella woke up and stretched, feeling the warm arm wrapped around her
and the hot moist breath on the back of her neck. She smiled and rolled
over. Rosabella laid there, watching Cecilius as he slept. She didn't
want to wake him. Before she knew it, her hands took a steady path to
his face. One hand she placed on his chest, over his heart. She could
feel every beat as her other hand rose to his face and she traced his
lips over and over again. Rosabella leaned in and kissed Cecilius's
cheek and slowly pulled away. As she pulled away she felt him kiss her
fingers. Cecilius smiled at Rosabella and kissed her palm. She placed
her hand on his cheek and smiled back at him. He leaned in and kissed
her. Rosabella pulled away and got out of bed, smiling. She was only
wearing a t-shirt and underwear. As she walked across the room Cecilius
chuckled. She turned and looked at him and said, “I don't see what's so
funny, would you like to explain?” “Nothing, amore,” Cecilius said as
he pulled the blankets back and got out of bed. Rosabella bit her lip
and her breath paused. He didn't have any clothes on. She still hadn't
gotten used to his size. He was always careful with her at first;
letting her grow accustomed to him so he didn't hurt her.

Later in the book

The whole left in Rosabella was utterly unbearable. Every corner, every
turn, every face, all she could see was his face; each time leaving her
breathless, speechless. She would stare straight ahead, spacing out and
thinking of him. He was her everything and suddenly he was gone. How
much longer could she bear this excruciating agony? The pain and
confusion was becoming too much for her.

Cecilius stepped out of the building. His brother had thought he needed
to be cheered up. He paced in large circles. Beyond the doors, behind
him, his brother was mixing. It was going great and he was having
fun....until he saw her face. He swore it was her.... Her face burned
in his memory. Her jade eyes staring at him in awe. He missed her more
than anything. He wanted her back. Cecilius regretted every word he had
said. The argument replayed itself in his head over and over, killing
him just a little more each and every time. Turning quickly, Cecilius
punched the brick wall and winced in pain as he heard bones crack as
they broke beneath his skin. He could feel the bone move in whichever
direction it pleased, puncturing his skin as it did so. The pain almost
unbearable, he balled his hands into fists and ground his teeth
together. He heard a clank as a rock hit the metal door. Spinning
quickly to see who it was, he winced from the pain coming from his
hand. He saw two eyes staring at him in confusion and awe.

Her head pounding from the confusion, she turned quickly and grabbed her
keys. She span quickly on her heels, facing the door leading to the
garage. Rosabella walked to the door, opened it, and stepped through.
Stopping in her tracks, she froze, staring at the cars. She couldn't
bear the thoughts the memories of him. Every moment they spent
together, every place they went, everything came flooding back. The
pain from the memories was excruciating, she couldn't bear it. She was
finally able to talk to people, to get out, but now the true intensity
of the pain was once more killing her. Rosabella tried to clear her
head; she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She bit her lip to
hold back a sob, blinking back tears. Taking a deep breath, Rosabella
walked towards her car. She took one last deep breath before opening
the door and getting in her car. Rosabella started the car, fighting
back tears, which seemed to be winning the battle. One tear escaped and
rolled slowly, gently, down her cheek. She heard a piercing sob escape
her chest as she blinked, fighting more tears. She gritted her teeth in
annoyance. She hated this pain, the tears. She didn't know when she'd
get over all of this, she hoped it was soon. Rosabella took a deep
breath, blinking back more tears, and put the car into drive, slowly
letting off the break pedal. It would be a long drive and she knew it.
Rosabella needed to calm down and she thought this drive would help,
she hoped so. It seemed as though she had been driving for hours, maybe
even days. As Rosabella turned down a different road she heard the bass
to music, inside a near building. She slowed as she came closer to the
music, until, finally, she reached the building and parked the car. She
sighed, not able to stand her thoughts. Rosabella hoped Cecilius was in
there, she wanted him to be so badly. Rosabella missed him more than
anything; she would give anything to have him back. As she stepped out
of the car the music got louder. Rosabella slowly and steadily walked
towards the building. She took a deep breath before opening the door
and slowly walking in. Rosabella, overwhelmed by the music, glanced
around, looking for Cecilius. She ran into many people. The crowd was
enormous; she couldn't find her way and was turned in many directions.
Four times that she ventured into the crowd she ended up at the door
instead. Figuring it was because she didn't have a certain destination
point; Rosabella ventured into the crowd again, trying to reach the
bar. After pushing through the people for what seemed like hours,
Rosabella was pushed in one direction. As she tried not to fall her
side hit something hard as metal. She almost collapsed from the pain;
she cried out but the music and people were much too loud, no one heard
her. Clenching her teeth together, Rosabella pushed herself away from
what she was pushed into, now noticing that it was the bar. “Well at
least I made it,” she sighed. Glancing around to see if he was there,
she saw his brother mixing. “Yeah that figures,” she mumbled to
herself. She froze staring at Cecilius's brother, her mouth dropped
open. If he's here then Cecil must be here, she thought. She could see
him again, talk to him, but could she handle it? Rosabella started to
get confused, trying to figure out if she could do it. Still staring at
Cecilius's brother, she took a deep breath, and tried to clear her
head. “I can't yet,” she whispered to herself, tearing her gaze away
from his brother and backing into the crowd. She could feel the fierce
tears coming. “Not here,” she groaned, pushing through the crowd. Once
again they pushed back and she was turned in many directions. Yet again
she was shoved into something. This time it was a door, a huge metal
door, figuring it was better than going back in that crowd she pushed
it open silently. Rosabella stopped in her tracks, confused and staring
at the person she saw there.

“What are you doing here!?” He snapped before he could stop himself. He
bit his tongue to keep from saying something he'd regret. As she stood
still, only staring at him, he sighed saying, “I'm sorry, I'm just not
myself at the moment.” He hoped Rosabella would have been the one to
come through that door, but of course it wasn't. He stood there
watching Emma stare at him, wondering why she was staring at him like
that. “What?” He said, his words sounding a bit sharper then he had
meant them too. “Your hand. I-It's bleeding,” she managed to croak out.
Cecilius glanced at his hand. He hadn't noticed that the bone had cut
his hand open even more. He hadn't felt it. “It's nothing, I'm fine,
just my temper got the better of me and I punched the wall,” he
shrugged. “O-oh,” Emma mumbled, taking her eyes off of his hand, fixing
them on his face. Emma tried to figure out the reason for his temper by
staring at his eyes, no use; it only made him even angrier. He glared
at her out of annoyance. Why does she always have to have such bad
timing, he thought to himself. Well he didn't want to trigger her
temper as well. “Why don't we go back inside,” he said, his voice
softening, becoming very convincing and seductive. Cecilius walked
smoothly past her to the door.

Rosabella stood, staring at Ambrosi. “H-hey Am....what are you doing
here?” Rosabella said, fighting back the tears that she worried would
win the battle once again. “Aida is inside; we thought it'd be nice to
get out. When I saw you struggling through the crowd, I thought I'd
check on you. I saw you were crying. Are you alright, Rose?” he asked
looking concerned. Rosabella hadn't noticed that tears were streaming
down her face. She needed someone there to help her, comfort her.
Ambrosi had always been there for her; he was a great brother, didn't
matter that it was by marriage, she saw him as a true brother.
Rosabella ran to Ambrosi, crying and sobbing, not able to see because
of the tears. It was hard to breathe, hard to concentrate. Ambrosi
hugged her, stroking her hair and trying to calm her. “Am, that's his
brother mixing in there, which means he's here....” Rosabella said
between sobs, trailing off. “Rosie, I don't think you're ready to see
him again, just give it some time.” Ambrosi said in a soothing voice.
“Am.... I want to see him again, but I can't handle it; it hurts too
much...” Rosabella said, trying to hold back the tears. “I know,
Rosie,” Ambrosi said, soothing her.

As they stepped inside Emma became more relaxed, overwhelmed by the
bass. She turned to look at Cecilius, making sure he had come in as
well. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes, taking one out and put it to
his lips. He froze, the cigarette only an inch from his lips, he looked
at it as he remembered what Rosabella had said. She had tried to get
him to quit smoking countless times. He half smiled, hearing her voice
in his head as she told him. “How many times do I have to tell you,
this can kill you?!” she'd say taking the cigarette from him and throw
it on the ground, stepping on it. “Come on that was a perfectly good
one,” he'd say, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her.
Emma took the cigarette from him and threw it on the ground. Cecilius
wrapped his arms around her and kissed her. The memory of Rosabella was
so strong that he didn't notice it was Emma. She wrapped her arms
around his neck and kissed him back. Cecilius pulled back and looked at
Emma, his breath pausing. “I'm sorry Emma. I just.... Well honestly I
thought you were Rose,” he said. “Oh,” she said, frowning, “I
thought.....” “No Emma, it's not like that,” Cecilius said, holding up
his hands to remove them from her. Emma stepped back and Cecilius
suddenly felt horrible. She looked horrified and so upset. “Emma, I'm
sorry. I was remembering rose and-” he said as she cut him off. “No, I
get it Cecil,” she said, her voice cracking on his name. “Anyway I, uh,
have to go,” Emma said, turning and walking away. Cecilius sighed and
watched her walk away. He grabbed his pack of cigarettes and put one to
his lips, pulled it from his face and examined it. He snapped it in
half and threw it away, along with the pack.

Rosabella pulled from Ambrosi and dried her cheeks, finally done crying.
“Lets go back inside, Am,” she said, putting a smile on her face and
walking to the door. They stepped inside and Rosabella looked all
around. As she took everything in, she took a deep breath. “Hey, Am,
I-” Rosabella said, looking at Ambrosi and got cut off as she saw his
expression, worried, and followed his gaze. It was Cecil. Rosabella
froze in place, he was kissing Emma. At first she was horrified, then
upset. Her breath paused and her eyes welled with tears. Rosabella took
a sharp turn and ran outside, gasping for air around sobs. She broke
down, falling to the ground, clutching her stomach and her other hand
clamped around her mouth. One more sob escaped as bile rose in her
throat and she vomited, removing her hand from her mouth.

Ambrosi tried to catch Rosabella as she rushed out the door, but it was
little hope and she was much to upset. It pained him to see his sister
in such a state, he loved her. Adrenaline pulsed in his veins as he saw
her face, upset, again in his mind. He spotted Cecilius in the crowd
and couldn't help but take the anger he felt out on him. He stalked
towards Cecilius, his fury only growing with each step closer to him.
Ambrosi had to remind himself to breathe, as his adrenaline became more
and more impulsive. He balled his hands into fists, his knuckles
becoming white.

Cecilius was walking to the door, woolgathering. He was hardly paying
attention to what was happening around him as he felt a hand on his
shoulder and heard the angry voice. “Cecil, what in the living hell do
you think you're doing, hurting her this way?!” Ambrosi yelled.
Cecilius turned to face him, pondering what he said, completely
oblivious to what he meant.
