The second poem about my father. | |||
Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story And without you to guide me, I don't know the path I should take. ~ Remember the little girl of your dreams. Remember the little girl with piggy tails and bubble gum in her hair. Remember the big hazel eyes looking at you with adoration and love. Remember two arms who couldn't hold you tight enough. Remember the secret we shared. And remember no matter where life takes me, the heartaches I feel, the tears I cry, or the way my soul flies when he's near is all because you once cared enough to give me life. ~ Letting go is so hard to do. But today I let go of you. Rest in peace. © October 20, 2008 by Lori Tweet
