Maybe you're just busy.

Work gets in the way,

when all you do is talk.

Between phone calls and faxes,

you must be occupied.

Right?

Or have I been pushed to the back burner?

~

I stand by and imagine,

you there working.

One time I was so important,

or at least that's what I was lead to believe.

There was a moment I felt so loved.

Could see us together for a long time.

Was it just a dream?

~

I change positions and guess,

what could be in your mind.

But, you're a man.

Who knows what you're thinking?

Maybe you're just pulling away.

Could it have gotten to real for you?

You're protecting your heart.

Like I'm not?

~

I endure to the end

to teach new words.

Dispersing Mentation

is an educated way of saying wandering thoughts.

~

Why is it I feel stupider than ever?
