Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story of a glass of Beer that I was drinking.. I'll be coming calling this afternoon he said be waiting here at the boarding house, and I will be coming on a corn wagon and we will take a ride along the ridges and be ready says “ drunk Frank”, that ugly gal was so excited about finely landing a Man to come a calling she runs inside the boarding house and I hear her holler maws I have a man coming a calling this evening . Mercy sakes alive what have I did I was wondering I have ruined my best friends' life here in the last hour . Me and Franks hurried back to the saloon and had several more Beers and we both parted after we was well drunk.. I got so drunk I passed out and when I woke up I was laying beside the horse drinking troff, and Frank was no where to be found, I asked the saloon keeper where Franks went off too and she said he seen him with Daisy May sporting about the road riding on a corn wagon.. Well time must of passed while I was passed out on Beer spirits and I decided to head onto my shack and try and get to feeling better from getting drunk. It was near a full month till I run into Frank and he gives me some news that he had bought the farm and was going to marry ugly Daisy .. What oh earth had I did? Cause my best friend to marry a gal that the sun hated to shine on she was so ugly and all. And now I have to find another drinking buddy and life as I knew it had changed, because of a drunk me and Franks had pulled... Well I guess maybe I should look at what good has come out of all this, knowing that Frank would have tall corn growing on that farm soon , and then I expect he will plant some ugly seeds and have some ugly batts running along side the little fox river , maybe I could live with my self after all.... thinking at least Frank had the prettiest Farm in the county and the ugliest woman here and about, and I do expect maybe I can forgive myself after all...I think I will ride into Muddy Fork township and drink myself drunk...maybe that will ease my mind... The end Tweet
