Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story I recognized the cries of that angry little girl whose mother had died in front of her eyes. “When your body lay on those cubes of ice I too felt as if I was lying on that ice. A part of me died with you that day,” I sobbed. She kissed my cheeks and gently spoke, “ A woman was born the day I died and that woman is you.” My mother's soothing words were healing my soul. I was her Phoenix. “You are one of those magic children of light,” She beamed. I will answer those tormenting questions that have given you years of sleepless nights,” She said. “When you cried out for me your heart found no comfort as it didn't see me sitting beside you”. “Yes, you are different. You are special and you were put on this earth to help people find their way. You will make a difference and your place is in heaven beside me,” she smiled. A warm soft feeling touched every part of me. I felt as if I was lying under a magical waterfall and all my worries were being washed away. The miraculous words of my mother felt like peace clearing out years of pain from my open abrasions. I felt energized and radiant as she held me and rocked me for the remaining part of my memory. I was finally in a safe place. I was home. As I opened my eyes, I found myself swaying on my swing. I looked up and saw a golden and purple light covering the entire sky. Tweet
