the fishes. If he had time then he would prefer to perform the latter.

The doorway to the bridge opened quickly and Garl dived into the room.
Seconds later, he heard the ricochet of a bullet hitting the wall in
the corridor behind him. Damn, the captain was armed. He knew his luck
would not last. But then, neither would the captains.

The coward was hiding behind an overturned desk. The old man screamed at
Garl, threatening him that if he came any closer he would shoot. Garl
gave this a seconds thought and then picking himself up he brought his
knife around in an arc and let fly. His luck had not run out after all.
The sound of the knife smashing through the window was enough to
distract the captain for the few precious seconds that it took Garl to
bound across the room and grab his victims neck.

He shoved the handkerchief down the captains' throat. After a short
struggle the commanding officer's body went limp...

The splash of the body hitting the water below was a sign to Garl that
his mission was now over. He turned away from the edge and walked
across the deck. Stopping in the middle. He looked up at the sky. His
eyes moved downwards to the severed head of the captain lying by his
feet. He could rest now. His laugh came from his soul but this time he
did not stop it. He let his laughter fill the air around him. Garl
Newliht had won and they had not.

His laughter slowly changed into a loud scream of triumph. He was the
last man standing on the Luxury cruiser Alania. And as the holiday ship
sailed on. Garl was happy in the knowledge that he would never have to
eat uncooked fish from this vessel ever again.
