Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story No rest for the wicked That's how you view me... Am I so different? Am I so cruel? Do I belong in a cage? My heart, and soul Don't belong to me anymore My thoughts are caged My mind has no freedom Cannot embark on great journey's Bounded by societal restraint Who controls you? Me? Ha, What part... I am created to obey consume conform My spirit yearns to free My love is caged by more than one Though never like this Why so strong? Can love exist in more than one? What is defined by love? Is it possible to love all? Yet still have such strong pulls Heart-felt cries for her pain? Too scared to speak Hidden behind good intent Hoping to speak Cannot, won't understand Unable to realize depth of soul Unable to see me Am I alive? Tweet
