They talked for hours after that, Gabriel mostly leading the conversation before Twilight decided to finally ask the question. “Gabriel, would you like to take a walk?” she asked casually, twirling a finger around a black curl of her hair. “Of, course, dearest,” he gave her a charming smile as they stood up and walked out of the club, holding hands and laughing like children. They walked all over the beautiful city before stopping on a deserted are, beside the river, and stood still to look up at the stars. Twilight was almost shaking with anticipation and decided that it was now or never to complete what she’d started the moment she looked into Gabriel’s stormy blue eyes. She leaned over and kissed him on the mouth, felling his response at once, and at the same time that his arm embraced her waist, her right hand reached under her skirt to bring out her beloved dagger, which she kept tucked on the hem of her stocking. She kissed him harder, picturing him laying on the floor as she cut his throat open and lapped up his blood like a kitten. She smiled into the kiss as she put her arms around him and he kissed the side of her neck passionately. “Twilight, my reflection,” he whispered into her neck as he licked it feverishly. She was about to stab him in the back, which always made the process of getting them to stay still much easier, when she felt something sharp against her throat. She yelped softly as she felt that something penetrating her skin and then Gabriel’s lips sucking at the blood he’d drawn with whatever it was he’d cut her with. She tried to pull away, frowning at the thought that what cut her felt like fangs, then Gabriel was holding her head back by her hair as his other arm crushed her body against him. He was biting her throat, making the entire situation even more confusing to Twilight (Vampires were things out of books, fictional things. Vampires did not exist in the real world. The closest thing to a vampire in this world was people who, like her, had developed a taste for it and had to drink it in the manner she did.) and making her drop the dagger on the floor as Gabriel continued to feast on her blood and her pain. She started feeling faint, no longer being able to think straight as her body weakened and Gabriel’s pleasure-filled moans grew louder. She closed her eyes, thinking that if she could shove him hard enough, maybe she could run away. But she felt so tired... The last thing she saw was his cruel and cold smile as he let go of her and she felt herself dropping lower and lower until her body hit something cold and she realized he’d dropped her in the river. Then he turned and walked away, leaving Twilight silently and desperately trying to scream as the water swallowed her whole. Tweet
