Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story something or we would have been in the building, we would have been burried in all the rubble never getting a chance to spend all the money. They had been finding parts of bodies and with 6ooo more missing and no bodies, this was perfect. We would just disappear letting them think we never got out, letting them think we were burried in all the rubble. Bright and early the next morning we picked up the car and we were on our way to Mexico, full of relief and excitement that we had gotten away with what we had done. Tom who liked the bottle more than anything wanted to stop at a local bar and have a drink to celebrate our good fortune. We found a bar just a few miles from the WTC. We parked the car, went inside, sat, drank, and before I realized it we had been there about 5 hours patting each other on the back. I said to Tom, “We better get going, it’s getting late, and we have a long way to go”. We got out to the car, staggering I managed to get the key into the ignition, started the ingine and pulled out into the street...bam...crash...boom... It was all over. A truck carrying rubble from the WTC was coming down the street and in the ecstasy of our deception I was not paying attention. Smashing into the truck all the rubble came piling on top of us, killing us instantly. We were buried in the WTC rubble. Be careful what you ask for.....you just might get it. I wrote this story talking to some young adults thinking of ways to dissapear because they were in some sort of trouble. The only difference is I changed the way it should end, in their minds they were sitting in Mexico having a ball, I felt they should receive what they asked for. These are the minds of our youth. This is what we teach our children. May God have mercy on us all. Tweet
