Asking for a reason to live doesn't mean we're on death's door. It means asking if someone cares enough to give us one reason not to go through life as a robot. | |||
Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story I want to be loved for who I am. To know I'm loved for what's on the inside. Not to be taken for granted any longer. To understand I have a place where I can hide. I'm not a damsel in distress. I don't need anyone to save me. No one can fix what's been broken. No one can take away horror's memory. * I don't like the situation. It stabs me in the gut. Can't tolerate knowing I'm alone. Irony always bites me in the butt. I'm still upset at the unfairness of life. But I know how to forgive. That is if there was a willing person who'll give me one reason to live. © December 16, 2010 by Lori Tweet
