Your soul knows what what you need even when you don't. | |||
Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story “Please don't hit me anymore I will do whatever you want just don't hit me any more”. Hit her, what the hell did that mean he had been poking her with his boot and not very hard really you know just enough to push her out of his way so he could get into his room. She uncurled a little and turned her face toward him. He saw at once that both her lips were cut and swollen, her eyes were badly bruised and some blood was still seeping from her nose. Somebody had done a harsh number on this big cat. Somebody had used a fist or maybe even worse on this little lady. He poked her again but this time not so hard and she scooted away from his door so he had space to squeeze by and into his room. His dumb ass soul started screaming at him the moment he closed his door on the wreck in the hall. “Yes soul I know she needs help and I am sure someone will happen along and see that she gets it. Yes, soul I know it is a dark unused hallway and you are worried that no one will find her. Hells Fire soul I just got off work and I am tired and I have to go to work again pretty soon just leave me alone cause I did no beat her down and its not my fault. OK so it is the Labor Day weekend and I don't have to go to work for three days. A beautiful young girl got hurt but it is not my fault. I will just go to bed and when I get up she will be gone and everything will be OK.” He took off his dirty work uniform and lay naked on the squeaking bed for more than ten minutes. The hallway was silent no footsteps and no policemen came knocking. He climbed reluctantly out of the bed pulled on a pair of faded jeans and his workboats over his sock less feet. He sat for a few moments on the corner of his bed then stood and walked slowly to the door. Tweet
