This is another story along the lines as my last on in this catergory. I hope you like it.

David went on to be the King of the land. He was the great-grandfather
of Joseph, who was Jesus' earthly father. There were fourteen 
generations between Adam and David and another fourteen between David 
and Joseph. David was the father of the great King Solomon, one of the 
wisest men in the Bible. David was a great and powerful King because he 
had the power of Christ inside him. What could be better than that? 

Now, that doesn't mean David was perfect. Solomon was born to David and
Bathsheba, a woman David lusted after. One day he saw her bathing 
outside in a courtyard, I believe. He told his chief counsel that he 
wanted her. He lay with her and she became pregnant. He husband was 
fighting in David's army. To cover his adultery, David had her husband 
killed. He took it upon himself to kill this man to have what he 
wanted, Bathsheba. 

His days where numbered after that. I don't remember what happened. But,
I do remember that God frowned on their union. He didn't take it out on 
the innocent child. I know there was strife with some of his children. 
And I think some of his wives left him. But, I honestly can't remember. 
I'm have to read the Bible more. 

The point to all this is what does the power of Christ in me mean to
you? Do you believe in Christ? Do you accept he died for your sins? Can 
you trust He has the power to wash you clean, be bathed in the “blood 
of the Lamb?” Would you have faith in him to come into your life and 
make it better then it is? Should you permit him to make you a life 
worth living? The answers to these are easy for me. YES! I believe them 
all. For Christ is working in me all the time. I battle the demons of 
my soul with the help of His awesome love. I suffer the ways of this 
world knowing that one day I will have a mansion in the sky. I endure 
the hardships of life because I know one day I will have nothing to do 
but praise His name. How many of us can say that? I imagine it's more 
then people think.

Author's note: 

Ok, see this is how I can prove I'm not perfect. I took two songs from
them and combined them to make this piece. I thought it was one song, 
but it wasn't. The songs are “The Voice of Truth” and “The Power of 
Christ In Me.” The first one is the one about David and Peter, the 
second is the about having the power to overcome things in life.
