McKayla has lost everything she has ever loved: her children. She is lost and confused. If she was anything in the world, she was a mother.

She bought them whatever she could afford, and tried to keep them as
happy as she had always wanted to be.

Soon after, she was offered partner at the firm, which increased her
salary a great deal. It seemed to her, that it couldn't get any better.
She had her family, her job, and a nice house. It was all she had ever
wanted.

Pretty soon, her younger brother, Charles, graduated highschool, and
with a Scholarship for Soccer, went to the nearby University. She
missed him a great deal, but was happy with what he had accomplished.
It was wonderful that he had come so far. She still had 3 siblings to
watch over, but they felt like kids to her. She was their mother, if
not by law, then by heart. She loved them like a mother should.

She met Bryan at the firm she worked at. He was an Assistant in
Personal, and very sweet. He knew her problems, and yet, he understood.
They started seeing each other exclusively, and very much enjoyed each
others company. McKayla had found a friend, at last.

7 months into their relationship, McKayla found herself pregnant. When
she told Bryan, he was overcome with joy, and proposed to her soon
after. Not thinking twice, she accepted.

They were married with a great deal of fan fare. Her younger sisters
were her bridesmaids, and her younger brother an usher. It really was a
family filled day.

2 months after the wedding, Adrianne Michelle was welcomed into the
world. She was a beautiful little bundle of joy, always giggling, and
rarely crying. Everyone loved her, but McKayla finally had her own
family to raise.

Her younger siblings left the house each at their own time, going off
into their own life changing ways. Her sisters moved to the city to go
to a small college there. Her brother, to another town. She had her own
family, though she missed them.

When Adrianne was 2, McKayla got pregnant again. This time, she bore a
beautiful little boy, Bryan Paul, Jr. The family was complete, not only
in children, but in love.

They were happier than tthey ever thought they could be. Little Bryan
was six months old, before Kayla went back to work. They hired a
babysitter, and all seemed right.

All day long in work that day, McKayla had a funny feeling. She told
Bryan, but he brushed it off with, "You are just an overprotective
mother - calm down." She laughed with him, and they hugged. He was
wrong.

When McKayla got home that night, her house was aflame. The firefighters
were trying their best, but it didnt look like anything had been
salvaged. When she tried to run into the house, a fireman stopped her.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am. You can't go in there." He said, with little concern
in his well built face.

"Damn it, thats my house! Where are my children? Oh my God! Where are my
babies?"

"We have the mother here." She heard him shout to someone else.

A young lady came and sat next to McKayla. She started talking in a low,
soothing voice.

"My name is Cathy. I am a counselor. I'm sorry ma'am. Nothing was saved
from the house. They didnt get here in time."

"My babies?" She gasped.

"I'm sorry ma'am."

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" She screamed, and started sobbing into her
hands.

Bryan had just pulled onto the street, and parked his car. He ran over
to McKayla.

"What happened, baby? What happened?" He asked.

"Their gone, Bryan. Both of them. The house..." She started sobbing, and
he put his arms around her and rocked her back and forth.

That was when McKayla took off. She just left. She couldnt deal with it.
It wasn't Bryan's fault, she knew. She just couldnt live with out her
children. They kept her.

Now, she drove down the road. She pulled over when she got to the woods,
and started walking. she walked for hours. She couldnt come to any
conclusions as to why this had happened to her. She had no idea. She
had never been a bad person. She, in fact, saved her brothers and
sisters from a life in which they didnt deserve. All she wanted was
happiness, and that too excaped her grasp.

She kept walking...searching...for something.

McKaylas body was found 15 miles from her car. She had a ribbon in her
hand, no one knew where from. She looked still, like she was ahppy to
have left this earth. No one knew how she died.

The autopsy said that her heart had just...stopped beating. No reason,
no explanations. Some say, she just followed her angels, and she was
where she had always belonged: With her children.
