His parent moved on to taking things out of the boxes and Red Bow was
happy to see the cookies on the table were fine.

He went back up to his room, picked up his extra letter to Santa, it was
time to go. He took it downstairs, folded it as neat as he could in
the big Red envelope, then ran to get a stamp from his mom. The letter
was ready, he was ready and he put the letter from the mail truck to
the airplane and followed his parents out to the car.

The car was covered in ice and took awhile to warm up. Mom was singing
to the radio as Red Bow sat in the backseat holding on tightly to his
letter.

They drove up to the street where the North Pole mailbox was. Oooh, Red
Bow was shaking from the cold as he stepped outside of the car to the
mail his letter. The mailbox was frosted with a hint of green and gold
speckled through the frost. His mom pulled down the slot and Red Bow
opened up the back of his airplane, gently lifted out his letter and
dropped it into the mail. His dad hugged him and said “I hope you get
all of your wished this year”.

Red Bow had asked Santa for a new pair of slippers, red if he could;
four new books and an angel bear to sleep with at night. Last but not
least, one more new big truck to add to his collection. He was also
hoping for some chocolate candy, coloring books and crayons. Big fat
RED crayons, his favorite color.

Later on that night, after dinner Silly Milly Nilly came over for mild
and cookies. Her shopping trip had gone well. She had a new bright
gold dress with black buttons to wear Christmas day.

As Red Bow got ready for bed later with Lickers snuggling by his side,
he said his prayers to God.

“Please let Santa get my wish list, and be able to bring me the special
things on my list”. “Please bless my mom and dad and all of my friends
this Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus”. “Thank you,
God, for everything I have and for the love of my family”.

Such a tired little bear, he drifted off to sleep. Candy canes,
airplanes and hints of colors, green and gold would fill his dreams
tonight.

Good night little bear.
