On a beautiful spring day a woman has a chat with her heart. Does she listen? Or does she chose to ignore what her heart has to say? Feedback is always appreciated. | |||
Click here to read the first 75 lines of the story “By listening to the voices in your head. Make people understand what you're trying to show them.” she moves away from me. “Wait!” I say as I reach out to her. “I've tried that! I put everything I have in my writing. How do I get them to understand it, when I don't understand it myself?” I say in a rush of words. I feel her slipping away from me. I can't believe she is about to leave me. “Listen to the voices, Lori! More importantly, listen to what your heart is saying. Listen closely and you will know.“ She starts to fade out of sight. “Let your heart tell the story. Set it free! Come to terms with the past! Be alive in the present! Live for the future! That's where your answers are.” I watch her slowly fade out of sight, feeling so many things. I feel my heart beating, come alive again. I feel myself healing, letting the past go. I feel like I've just woke up from a long nightmare. I feel so damn good! Some still may not understand my words; I'm not going worried about it. One day, my heart will make them understand; let me tell the story right. For those that do understand what I've said, Can you feel my heart beating? It beats for you and I. It beats because you hear my words feel them come alive. It beats because you understand me; we've just touched each other's soul. Now, we're a part of each other forever, nothing can change that.
